“It's a classic small general store with friendly people and very good, basic food like a cheeseburger and fries, which is what I had. They have a variety of other snack and beverage options to choose from as well. Worth a visit.”

“Like this Publix! But definitely gotta take a star off for how jam-packed they have 4 of the self-checkouts. There’s not nearly enough space there to accommodate that many stations, carts, bagging areas, and all of that on top of eachother just is a chaotic cluster. Otherwise great, clean store”

“They have a really nice deli with beef pastrami and roast beef! The produce section looks awesome! I'll definitely check it out to see how the prices compare to other grocery stores.”

“Aldi is my primary grocery store but this location always seems to have a stock problem. They also need to be more attentive of produce that is no longer appealing and pull it off the shelf.”

“I love this place. I come almost everyday for last minute items and they always have some kind of great deal going on. Very nice employees. Wish Tx had one. And their rewards system is a great way to save some money.”

“I moved from near Bowling Green to Massoponax area in 2024 and this is my new local Food Lion. It's so much nicer than one of the other ones, (another was small but nice but didn't have as much variety), and well stocked and clean and neat. I really like many of the employees and more recently got help in Produce when an item I buy regularly was out of stock for awhile.”

“Well… I wrote a rough review about a self checkout only situation, and within 30 minutes, the manager had contacted me directly, and had a conversation about the genuine problem that I was bringing up, and how the store might address that.

I generally have had very good experiences at the store, despite a hiccup tonight. However, the immediate work by the staff and management to set things right, so that any customer that needs a cashier will have one available to them as long as the store is open… that makes me happy again.

And now I have food and am less cranky. 5 stars!!!”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If I could give Weis Markets 27 stars, I would!

Let me tell you: this isn’t just a grocery store. Weis Markets is a cathedral of culinary wonder, a supermarket so transcendent it nearly made me weep in the frozen foods aisle.

Upon entry, I was greeted by an air-conditioned breeze that whispered, “Welcome home, traveler. Lay down your burdens. Here, all things are possible.” The produce glistened like dewdrops in the Garden of Eden. I saw apples so perfect I briefly questioned the nature of reality. Did I actually step into a parallel dimension where fruits are hand-polished by celestial beings? Maybe.

Aisle 7 is a fever dream. I entered looking for granola bars, and emerged three days later (possibly a time dilation effect?) with new wisdom, fresh cilantro, and a deep yearning to call my mother. There’s something in the air there—perhaps the faint aroma of hope? Or maybe it was just the in-store bakery, which bakes bread so fresh I swear I heard it singing.

The staff at Weis? Legends. I asked an employee where to find almond butter. Not only did he personally escort me to the shelf, but he also recited a haiku about sustainable snacking. His eyes twinkled with the light of a thousand galaxies.

I haven’t even mentioned the self-checkout machines. They are sentient. They know when you’ve forgotten to scan your coupons. They gently remind you, as if to say, “It’s okay, friend. We all forget sometimes. But here at Weis, you are remembered.”

One time, I tried their rotisserie chicken, and let’s just say, my taste buds had a spiritual awakening. I briefly spoke in tongues and composed a symphony in honor of their deli section. If you haven’t eaten their potato wedges, you have not yet lived.

The parking lot? Sprawling. Chariots (shopping carts) roll smoothly. I once saw a shopping cart do a wheelie.

In conclusion: if you’re looking for just another grocery run, go somewhere else. But if you want a life-altering, soul-enriching, borderline transcendental adventure among the canned beans, get yourself to Weis Markets. Tell them the Prophet of Aisle 7 sent you.

Weis, never change. You are the reason my pantry (and my heart) is full.”

“Very friendly and helpful employees. With a wide selection of items often changes daily so you have to keep checking but you can definitely find what you're looking for or what you didn't even know you were looking for most of the time for a reasonable price”

“Here lately, we go to the Dollar General all the time. Everyone's pretty nice, except the lady with the purple hair. She is very rude and gets an attitude with you just because she has to do her job. Normally, she can be found indulging in her favorite activities, like smoking or lounging in the chair next to the beer and grocery baskets. Now, my husband and I have noticed that every time we go there lately, the lady with the purple hair follows you around the store as if you're going to steal something. What's going on with her? Is she on drugs or is she really like this?”

“Me and Hubby went in today to this great store. Whenever I go there people actually smile. The promotion for the Free Frazil Friday was great. The ladies were really on point. I much prefer this location over the one at Courthouse rd beside the snack shack..the guy barely smiled and they had no drive and desire to promote the promotion. Smh. So go team Massaponax!!!! The photo of the 2 drinks beside each other is to show the difference in the celebration of customers from one location to another. The ones the Left is good Ole Fas Mart Massaponax ...now near the $$$ area of the Courthouse Spotsy area is the cuo on the right??? Thanks for the young beautiful employee who posed for the picture . Stay CHILLED!!”

“Walmart has turned into self checkout. There were only 2 real registers open with lines. I hate the self checkout. I don't work for Walmart. I want someone to checkout my purchases. Someone is going to look over my shoulders & check my bag at the door... let someone else checkout my purchases.

There were 6 other workers looking over the shoulders of the self checkout customers. Give them a till to checkout customers in the real register lines.”
