“Every person that works there is friendly. The figgy piggy is delicious. Have a seat and a pint after a day on the mountain. Trivia night Wednesday. All around greatness”
“The couple that bought this and did a desperate remodel are the kindest, friendliest couple ever!! They get to know their customers and accommodate you in any way they can..would give 10 stars if possible!!”
“Thankful to have a nearby location to grab items instead of having to drive all the way to Bellingham. The prices are a little higher here; but it definitely outweighs the time it would take to go to the next closest store.
Deducted one star because no matter what day or time I go in, and even if it’s for just one minute, the smell of the deep fryers permeates my hair and clothes immediately and I can smell it on me after leaving. Every single time. Something about the ventilation isn’t working properly. I always feel like I need a shower after shopping here. I hope they can fix that problem some day.”
“I always stop by here to use the bathroom on long road trips. They're super clean!!! The workers are always so nice too.
They also serve the best jojos I've ever had. Perfect texture and flavor. I don't know if they're doing anything special but it tastes soooooo good. I also got a bean and cheese burrito which was also extremely satisfying. Their food is simple and cheap yet delicious!”
“This place is AWESOME!!! Living in Sudden Valley, I can't tell you how many times this place has saved me from having to make a trip into town for something I forgot. So well stocked with anything you'd need! And everyone is so friendly & helpful :) So thankful for this place!!”
“this market is so beautiful and perfect if you are in Sudden Valley. Josh and crew run it nice. ??? last minute things and early morning things. neighborhood love!”
“I do enjoy stopping in this lovely little general store. Unfortunately, I have not had a great experience with the coffee mugs that are sold there. I purchased two mugs in December and within 2-3 months both of them have hairline cracks in them. And this after normal use…hand washed and cared for very well. The coffee mugs are “The bowl maker” ones that are very beautiful in design, but very cheaply made.I went back to the store to ask what could be done and the manager said, “how do I know you didn’t bump them and that is what caused them to crack”.22 years in the military and I have learned what integrity is about, so I did not like that very much. And she said “that was a long time ago when you purchased them” and I said “it was only 2 to 3 ago”!! Needless to say, she told me she would have the owner contact me and they have not. One of the other ladies also said you’re supposed to pour hot water in them before you put your coffee in…. That’s new to me when using a coffee mug. Been drinking coffee for over 30 years.. Also very coincidental that both of them have cracked. Beware before purchasing if you wanna enjoy hot liquids. Maybe use them strictly for decoration? Or just avoid them entirely? They cost $20 each.Update:The message was passed on to the local artist, Cary Lane, the creator of the mugs. In quick fashion, Cary took care of the situation. She is a classy lady and stands by her product!Thank you Acme General Store for passing on the message to help rectify the situation.”
