They have regular coupons that offset this of you remember to bring/use them after giving up personal data. Their Stihl selection is pretty good, and they stock/order parts, but the computer systems aren't well integrated, so it takes some effort and patience. The tool and hardware selection is good, but if you're on a tight budget and need something common: go to Bi-Mart down the road.”

“I had a great experience today at Lowe's and want to make sure it's acknowledged. I came up to the paint counter around noon today (12/19/23), and asked for a small sample of a paint color I'd picked out. The gentleman behind the counter asked what I would be using it for, and I explained I'm a novice and had "a lot of dumb questions". He eased my mind, said he'd help me, and anticipated answers to queries I didn't know I had. He got me what I needed to clean the area first, helped me to determine the sheen I needed, and when I asked about brushes, he steered me toward the small paint rollers which I had not even considered (as I said- extreme novice here!). I asked where the painting tape was, and he told me to make sure not to remove it after the paint had dried (so it won't lift the paint up with it). He grabbed me a paint tray (again, something I hadn't thought of). Through all my muddling through this, he was polite and didn't make me feel dumb. I didn't get his name, but he deserves serious accolades, and puts a great face on Lowe's.”
“Stopped by to kill some time. As i walked around the store, i was surprised by how many employees asked if i needed any help. I stopped by the electrical section because i'm paving in installing an outlet for a welder. The Home Depot associate, a vietnam vet (by a patch on his apron), asked about my project. He suggested i do it differently than i had planned, i hate to admit, he made a lot of sense. All to say, a great and educational experience.”
“This is a nice neighborhood hardware and sundry store. Fun to browse, they have a nice selection of hardware, household and garden items, and interesting selection of decor (yard, holiday, etc).”
“Went in to get a new lawn mower with my husband and was honestly blown away by the great customer service. Riley and Bryan were very knowledgeable and made sure we left with all the proper knowledge about the mower be bought. When we were checking out there was a problem with our military discount and they got it fixed without making it seem like an inconvenience that they had to take extra steps to get it to work. Riley even helped load the mower into the truck so I wouldn’t have to help my husband lift it. Overall a great experience!”

“Ballard Industrial is a great place to go. It isn't necessarily for the consumer. They sell tools that are meant to be used all day every day and those cost more than packages sold at big box stores. They are frequently competitive on price with internet sales. I spend extra to get it from here. I have never had to bring anything back but if I did I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem.”

“It's a small hardware store so they don't always have everything, but you can't beat the convenience! I come in all the time for odds and ends and usually walk out with more than I planned on. Don't know what everyone is complaining about in other reviews, the employees are knowledgeable and helpful to me every time I go in. Support your local store!”
“I was looking forward to buying an item all day, but when I got there, it wasn't on the shelf. Kevin went above and beyond. He looked up the item, grabbed a ladder and got my item off the top shelf. He is my hero today! I needed it for the construction site tomorrow. Thank you Kevin!!!”
