“I am updating my review to the Lakemont UPS store after communicating with the store owner Maria on the details of my experience and feedbacks. She is a great small business owner with empathy, ownership, and customer obsession and willing to listen to customers. I would say that my not very pleasant experience turned out to have a happy ending as I think we have a trustworthy UPS store owner to support our neighborhood. Appreciate it.==== The following is my original one-star review===I cannot believe about the horrible experience on my packages during this holiday season at Lakemont UPS shop. I had 2 critical identification document shipped to me on Next day Air and I requested them to be delivered to the Lakemont store for pick-up because I can’t risk the packages to be left at front door. They were shown delivered on 12/26 1:19pm on the tracking so I went to pick them up. A store assistant named Taylor checked the computer and said “we don’t have them, they were not delivered, you need to call the 800 numbers, we are just store not UPS, we don’t know anything”. I asked if he could just check in the back to see just in case. He showed no sign of helping but arrogance and yelling. I was lucky to talk to the UPS driver who delivered my packages right outside the store. He was so nice and helped me go to the store and ask again. Guess what? They found my packages. Even with the fact, Taylor didn’t show any apology of mishandling my packages and providing wrong information. In the meanwhile, I want to thank Eddie who is really helpful and found my packages at the end, also to the UPS driver who stepped for me and ask/check the store again.”

“I can't recommend Omega Photo highly enough. My sister and I were looking to get some photos blown up and printed for our mother's funeral in less than a week's time, and we walked into this place...three hours before they were scheduled to close down and move to a new location. Everything was in boxes and they clearly had their hands very full. However, they were incredibly kind and accommodating, assured us that they give memorial photos top priority, and would make it happen despite literally being in the middle of moving. On top of that, the photos we wanted to use weren't as high-res as we had hoped, and were going to be a challenge to blow up to the sizes we needed. Well, the Omega staff worked their magic and not only turned around our order in time for the funeral, but did an incredible job blowing up less-than-ideal resolution images and made them look amazing. So many people commented on the beautiful photos at my mom's service. Omega Photo truly saved the day for us and I am so grateful for their kindness and professionalism. They are miracle workers and you shouldn't hesitate to go to them for any photo needs you have. Thank you so much to the wonderful people at Omega Photo for going above and beyond!”

“The husband-wife duo was supremely helpful in their advice and efficiency in getting my important pkg to its destination across the country. They made at least four suggestions that I followed..........and I've shipped hundreds of pkgs before. They went out of their way to creatively make sure my pkg was safely packed and didn't even charge me for the little but important extra that they did. I wasn't EVER going to use this business because of their name, but I needed DHL and they were the only ones. It turns out that DHL in the U.S. can only be international (undoubtedly due to powerful lobbying from FedEx and UPS). I was also totally screwed over by another, nearby, small mailing business last year and was also not going use another small mailing business, but I will definitely use this one again......despite their awful name! (Started and named by a British guy, BTW, who didn't understand its origin!)”

“Had some trouble with our new Xerox 6515 we ordered via retailer. Contacted Xerox and they assigned QBSI to take a look. Field service technician Robert J with QBSI did an on-site evaluation and identified the problem. Robert ordered the required replacement and came back to us a few days later and did the service work.Robert was personable and professional. He also gave is a quick tutorial on the 6515 as well as giving is a few maintenance tips.Excellent experience.”

“I don't understand the complaints (and ratings) here about bad service. This is a busy store, and the "old asian" owner tries his best to accommodate everyone. I have seen (many times) the staff simply trying their best to speed things up while still being courteous. This is a UPS store, not a restaurant- it's more important to get things moving then chit chat about your day or provide the best customer experience- they are nice folks, but their attention is (rightly) focused on shipping stuff accurately. My favorite UPS location, in and out :)”

They tried various settings and printed out samples and we decided on the best one, and then they even printed out 20 4x6 prints for me in a matter of minutes, and told me I could have them for free!
