“For over 20 years I've had nothing but fine service at the Colbert Post Office. They are dedicated people who try to serve the public to the best of their ability. We are lucky to have our own "country Post Office" so close and convenient and fortunate to have it still open for us.”

“I had a package that our mail carrier tried to deliver, but the name on the delivery was my maiden name. USPS was going to send it back to the sender (which was in NJ), so I quickly called every USPS in town to find which one had my package.I got in touch with Angela at this location and she was amazing! She asked for the tracking number and realized the mail carrier was still in the building. She put me on hold, ran to get the package, and held onto it for me until I could swing by this location.I wanted to write a positive review and give a shoutout to all of the USPS workers, as this is a crazy time of year. THANK YOU GUYS FOR ALL OF YOUR HARD WORK! <3”

“This is a small Post Office that you may miss if you're not careful. Haven't found anything they couldn't help me with yet. I dropped by to ask about an email I had received as I was suspicious it may be Spam fishing for personal information. I was pleased to find the Post Office employee here was able to quickly identify my email as Spam and showed me the very subtle identifiers that gave it away. Kudos to the Post Office employee for his knowledge and courtesy to take the time to help.”

“Kay was very informative and caring, very precise with her job and knows her information very well. She went out of her way to make sure we knew what we were getting into and making the right choice.”

“I didn't even know it was there so it was a nice little hidden gem. The guy working was mad helpful so kudos to him. This is not a full service (I guess you would call it) post office as it is run through yokes as to my understandings. I for one am grateful that it's here”

“You can not tell it is a small post office from the outside. It is inside the Rosauers store. Once you walk in, they have a small counter and post office staff to help you. I am glad I found it.”

“I came in with mail in many different sizes going to many different places. No waiting line. The clerk was knowledgeable, helpful, and calm. Thanks for the great service!”

“Because of a bad past experience with mail theft, we choose not to have a mail box on our rural street. A few times UPS shipment pulls a switcheroo on us and drops our package off at the Chattaroy post office for final delivery over the past several years, and of course, the mail carriers cannot deliver because of our choice not to have a street mail box. I’ve had to call the Chattaroy post office and ask if they can please hold our package rather than return to sender. Each time they have been kind enough to hold onto so I can pick up. I am thankful for that! I don’t know how many other post offices would be so kind to do this, but I appreciate them for doing so. I try my best to avoid this scenario but sometimes these UPS to USPS handoffs catch me off guard. Thank you Chattaroy post office!”

“An exceptional USPS! The gentleman that works the counter (Robert, I believe his name is? Tall, brown hair, glasses) is always very pleasant and is as helpful as they come. It's what makes this location stand out.”

“Moved here in 2021 and have been shipping quite a few packages. I have never had a problem. The staff is always friendly and professional. We had a P.O. Box the first year, was in there frequently. There was a problem when closing my box via online, but they fixed it immediately.”

“About a year ago, there were huge delivery delays in my neighborhood (N. Minnehaha) that shocked me. I never learned for sure what the problem was. But the reduced staff who labored away at the office, facing the ire of residents, displayed courage and patience. The mail eventually got back on track. And three months ago, it was at this office that I met with the most remarkable kindness I've ever encountered from the USPO. When the clerk, a personable woman with a British accent, found out that the parcel I planned to insert into one of the standard mailers contained only DVDs, she not only told me that I could save over ten dollars by using my own packaging and using the media rate, but she went to the back, found a box with two of the right dimensions, trimmed the third dimension down, packaged the DVDs, taped it, etc. When I thanked her for all this above-and-beyond, she said that she was happy to do it since I was, at the moment, the sole customer.”

“I ordered a package online and it was accidentally shipped to an old address. I was able to call this USPS directly and was connected to an employee immediately! Rarely these days can you actually talk to a live person right away.I asked if they could hold the package and they were able to catch it right before it went on the delivery truck to be out for delivery. My husband was able to pick up the package on my behalf. I really appreciate what the employee did for me, thank you!”
