“I came in with a very unique situation. I came in wearing a pair of old Carhartt pants that I've never been able to find again. As I was browsing, Sky came up to offer help. Long story short, I found out I had an old design of women's pants. Sky helped me find alternatives in both men's and women's styles and I left with a really nicely fitting pair of pants and a tote bag. I did not walk in with any intention of spending money. I just wanted to see what a Carhartt store was like. Sky is awesome. Now that I am a Seattle resident, I found where I'll be buying all of my Carhartt ?”
“Wanted to shout out the amazing Ms. Cynthia as the light of my day! Walked into LB today with zero confidence that I would find something for an up coming interview. When asked was there a certain event that brought me in I did my normal “ no, I’m ok just looking” that I always do because I usually want to be left alone to find the some plain old things I always pick ??♀️ well not today! Ms. Cynthia swooped in and asked me all the right questions to get me to open up and with in minutes I was in a dressing room. I was trying on clothing I would have never picked out for myself! “Great selection of clothing but prices are on another level of expensive. Also, it'd be great if the staff were more knowledgeable about the historical significance of Eddie Bauer and the origination of puffer jackets. I'm pretty sure, based on what I learned at the Museum of History and Industry, that Eddie Bauer invented one of the original puffer jackets, and I think the store should celebrate that success more prominently. Eddie Bauer should tell its Seattle-based origination story more. There was a timeline display on the wall, but I think most people interpret it only as decorative art, and even the employees seem to read it for the first time when I asked them the puffer jacket question.”

“I freaking love Torrid. The employees are super helpful, the sales are great, clearance section usually has some good stuff. This particular location seems to have less clearance items (especially underclothes) than the other Torrid I have been to, but that isn't this locations fault it any way.”

I came in not even knowing what I was looking for and came out with items that matched so well with where i was going. Windsor doesn’t carry plus sizes but she took the time to find dresses made with stretchable fabrics for me to try on and they worked out so well! Great hospitality from that young woman !”
“My wife was long overdue for a shopping trip and we went in to Chicos and the sales associate was incredible. She really helped my wife find some great items to freshen up her wardrobe. Her name is Gabrielle and she really went above and beyond to make my wife feel comfortable with every item she tried on. Gabrielle was honest on what looked good and what didn't with no rush or pressure to buy anything. We left with 7 items and my wife was very happy. Well done Gabrielle and Chicos. My wife will definitely be back.”

“First visit in about 20yrs. Bright and clean. And employees outnumbered the customers that I could see. The pickup and returns counter is by the south street entrance, nearest the parking garage. The in-store directories will tell you what's on each floor, but not where on the floor.
I had an online order to pickup. The clerk wanted a barcode to scan the order number. Too bad, she had to manually enter the 16 digit number. 16 digits!
Suggestions to JCPenny. I know you want people to walk around, hunting the store, but if you want people like me to return then make finding areas easier. And a map of the store would be nice with the directory. Oh, and Include the order number barcode in the confirmation email, or a weblink in the text message to help out your online pickup staff.”
“Just wanted to give a shoutout to the staff at this location, in particular, Jennifer. We came in to exchange items from an online order because once again I couldn’t get the size correct for my teenager’s unusual proportions. We’ve been struggling to find the right size for the last couple years with little success. We’ve gone in to try to get her measured properly at the store next door a while ago but were simply handed a tape measure and told they don’t do that anymore. Jennifer at Soma, on the other hand, actually took the time to properly measure. She also pulled out several different styles as that, she explained, may affect fit and comfort too. She was quite patient and genuinely wanted to help us. Thank you so much from a grateful mother and a now less self-conscious and frustrated teenager who thought she would be comfortable only in sports bras.”

I must admit, this was a lot of fun! And - shock!!! - my husband admitted the same enjoyment as I did! So, combining the nice selection of decent quality items, the helpful staff, and the great sale prices, we would give this shopping experience a 10, if possible!”
