“The staff here is exceptionally empathetic and kind. We went to a couple other clinics in the area before settling on Nurtured Noses. Here they treat you and your pet like family, not just another source of income. Dr. Preston is very professional and isn't the type of vet that feels they have to oversimplify everthing when talking to you. When working through our dog's health issues, we received a call and an email both detailing what was going on and what our options for the next steps would be. The communication is top tier.

They offer urgent care services, though you'll have to be patient so they can work you in between scheduled appointments.”

“Tahoma Vet is more than just a veterinarian office. It’s a part of the family. We have been going there for 30 years and I cannot say enough about the kind, caring Staff that works there. We have brought so many animals for help, from ones that got ran over on the street to neighbors in the midst of emergency. With no question asked they are willing to help however they can. They are part of my family and I’m so grateful to be part of theirs. When we had to Let our babies go they let us go out back with the whole family around the tree, and even brought one of our dogs a plate of Thanksgiving food. We are all able to say goodbye outside in an atmosphere of love and dignity with my children and my babies, it made an unbearable situation possible to learn it can be an act of love. I love these guys. I believe they were sent to this earth by God”

“Thank you for neutering my GSP/Australian Shepherd mix Charley! He is recovering well at home. Dr Emerson and his staff were great, their customer service and communication 10/10. I drove over and hour to get this surgery done for Charley because the vet hospitals in my vicinity were looking at around $700+😵‍💫 So, Dr Emerson wanted to see Charley for an evaluation before the actual procedure and it was very affordable. He also addressed Charley’s ear infection FOR FREE because our other vet wanted to charge us over $100 to apply medicine and send us home with it. Then, when Charley got fixed we asked at the end of the appointment if they have any nausea meds because he gets really carsick. The kind lady who helped us checkout asked the dr for us, once again he registered nausea meds to Charley free of charge. Coming from our original vet who wanted to charge us an insane fee to Dr Emerson who simply cares for the wellbeing of my dog was absolutely flabbergasting. He restored my faith in good people for real. Thank you Dr Emerson and team, you guys are amazing. I appreciate you guys so much😭❤ Male neuter all together was $375, totally affordable compared to the prices in my town (not including his first visit appointment but that was also affordable, it was less than $100. They got us on the schedule swiftly right after seeing us!)”

“I wouldn't trust any other Vet with my dog. The staff is friendly, understanding and empathetic. Ottis recently had a teeth cleaning that went great. My dog has a heart murmur so going under anesthesia is always a risk. The Vets ran a few extra blood tests to make sure by baby would be safe. My dog also had a CCL surgery here and they did an AMAZING job. I also appreciate that they follow up in 24 hours to make sure your family member ( your pet) is doing ok. I would recommend Lake Tapps Vet to ALL! Thank you.”

Because of that, I have become a fairly discerning pet owner and I can recognize when a veterinarian is truly passionate, knowledgeable, and committed to their patients.
Dr. Jagger is exactly that kind of veterinarian. She is not only highly skilled, but she also goes above and beyond to understand each patient’s condition, no matter how uncommon or complex it may be. We have seen her for issues such as IBD and heartworm disease—conditions that are not commonly treated in our area—and she has consistently put tremendous effort into making sure everything is done properly. We always felt exceptionally well cared for.
I first came to Dr. Jagger frightened and overwhelmed after receiving a very concerning diagnosis. From the beginning, she made me feel that she knew exactly what she was doing. She was compassionate, took extra time with us, and approached every detail with care and precision. I truly could not have asked for a better veterinarian.
We have been coming here for over three years. I waited to write this review because I wanted to share it after seeing the long-term results—and today, my dogs are doing great, all thanks to Dr. Jagger. We have found the perfect veterinarian, and I would not want to take my dogs anywhere else.

“Dr Kate took great care of my first dogs until the time came to send them to the Rainbow Bridge. Then she helped us make their passing easy (for the dogs) when that time came. It was hell for us, but she was so wonderful and comforting. Now we have a new "kid", and never gave a thought of taking Gracie Mae to anyone else. She is still a lovely, caring person.”

“I have to start off by saying that the staff at this Banfield location are exceptional! I had an appointment at another location that was unfortunately cancelled an hour before I was supposed to drop my dog off; however, I was able to give this location a call and get on the schedule for that same afternoon! From the moment that Aliyah answered the phone, to the initial exam process with Haley, and then receiving the final exam results from Dr. Burgess (I hope I'm spelling every name correctly!), our visit was smooth and incredibly easy.

As someone who previously worked in the pet world, I tend to have more questions than some people might about my pets and their health. Every one of my questions was answered diligently by each of the staff members, and made me feel even more comfortable entrusting them with my dog.

After reenrolling my 7.5 y/o American Cocker in the Active Care Plus Wellness Plan, I have gotten her blood, urine, and fecal tests, as well as each of her vaccines for less than the cost of a normal office visit alone. And the whole time, in true Cocker fashion, my dog could not stop wagging her tail. This location has won my dog (and me) over!”
