“I needed some vaccinations the other day... I visited Rite-Aid, and it was crazy, with a long wait for a flu vaccination and an appointment requirement for a COVID-19 vaccination. I searched for other pharmacies nearby and dropped into Medical Center Pharmacy, hoping they could accommodate me. In far less time than the wait I was quoted, they had me vaccinated and on my way, along with a quick discussion about why the pharmacy industry is so messed up. I wish they were closer to me; I'd move all my prescriptions to them. Kind, quick, and I don't leave feeling like I'd had my soul sucked out of me like I do at the national chain pharmacies.”

“Good selection but prices rose higher than necessary. Good hours. Customer service is usually great but one experience was extremely unpleasant. That person was just not meant to o be in customer service. I'm a regular shopper at several Freddie's.”

“My husband and I have been using this pharmacy for all of our prescription needs for the past few years and have nothing but praise for them. While yes, things were a little slow during the pandemic height, that's *completely* understandable and they've definitely gotten up-to-speed over the past year and a half so that we barely need to wait for any Rx. They're also incredibly kind and nice to speak to, regardless of who we work with there (any tech or pharmacist).Today we just both got our flu shots and I can't believe how overworked the staff were. Pharmacist Faith and the tech were beyond busy and we saw how customers would come up and complain about things when clearly there was not much else the two staff could do. (4 hands can only do so much at one time). Thank you, Faith, and everyone else there for working as hard as you do to help the community. We appreciate you. (And thank you for the Nemo band-aids, that made my day) ;)”

“I have been getting prescriptions here for 20+ years. I have literally never had a problem or a mix up. I live further now as of several years ago, but I still go here for prescriptions because I trust them. They have always served me well and go over new medications with me.”

“This review is long overdue about a remarkable and stellar human being, Bruce, who is the most beautiful person I have encountered in a very long time.Bruce is someone whom everyone needs in their daily existence~ the sunshine and spirit lifter, without a doubt! He goes unnoticed doing his best to make sure every customer is valued. The world needs to stop and take a page from Bruce’s book of care and compassion while serving others in the public. “I have had a long history with many pharmacists in various states.As a customer who has experience of understanding what their job is like with ONLY two people day after day, while running a high-volume pharmacy, I know they are badasses. They are hard workers and focused. They may seem distant because there is a lot on their plate that involves them being concerned with EVERYONE who needs their medication.They may not be able to answer calls because they are working with many customers WHILE carefully filling medications, so that yours may also be filled.Please be mindful of such high volume and the fact these these people work extremely hard all day every day.You guys rock. I wish I was capable of what you do.”

She is efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. She has helped us many times previously, the last time preparing a COVID shot record for both of us because we didn't get all the information on the email we received for them. “I had a very good experience with the staff at the Safeway Highlands pharmacy today. My prescription was in queue and not ready but the staff went out of their way to get it for me when they learned I was out. This Pharmacy took a huge turn when Mihaela became in charge. Kudos to her and her team because they are always professional and empathetic even though they are very busy.”

“I don't get all the negative reviews (most from ages ago) except to say there's a lot of highly affluent and exceptionally entitled people in this area with zero self-awareness. To the negative reviewers: So you had to wait 20 mins for your Rx because you were too impatient to wait for the text message saying it's ready...poor baby...a minor inconvenience of your own making. I've frequented this location and its Pharmacy consistently for the last 3 years (before and after merger with Rite Aid) and not once have I ever experienced anything short of exceptionally friendly, courteous, and prompt service from literally every employee I've encountered. I've been greeted every time I've stepped inside the door ...every time! I can't think of another retailer I can say that about.”

“It's a typical Fred Meyer's and that's a good thing. Fred Meyer's is the best all-around grocery store chain in the area. We would probably shop here all the time if we didn't have good options (ie Trader Joe's) that are much closer to us. Fred Meyer's is the place to go to for the best, cheap produce. And they have all of the standard brands, something that is lacking at Trader Joe's. My kids yearn for Oreos and Cheerios and other favorite brands, every once in a while.”

“First time I’ve gone there for a vaccination. Shingrex was scheduled. I have a condition which is impacted by that particular shot. Then I find a second is needed about a month later.I was very impressed by the pharmacist’s knowledge of my condition and we chatted about what reactions to expect aside from the normal. Slipped by any abnormal reaction thank goodness.I’ll be going back for #2 when the time comes and schedule an RSV poke there too.”
