I took my 5.3 L 2016 Silverado in for a $1000 tuneup , belt changes, etc. Got a phone call and they said they recommended I didn’t do the tuneup because my truck had the dreaded lifter tick and it was going to be a more expensive fix. They explained everything to me and with their help I decided to just replace the engine with a remanufactured Jasper engine. Dennis had the engine changed and the new one running smooth within just a few days. Then the battle began turning the new engine to the truck was no picnic several problems but Rick stayed with it until he and Jasper figured it out. It has a longer story, but that is enough to let you know that these guys have integrity and they keep at it until it is done right. Mine was a special case and took longer than four weeks to get my truck back, but I have it now and it runs great so far everything is fine. Spike Rick and Dennis talked with me throughout the whole process and even though it took as long as it did, it was not the typical fix.”

“I don't think I have ever met a mechanic who cares more about helping people than Shayne. After my car (2014 Subaru Impreza) started having a mysterious transmission issue at the start of a road trip, we managed to get it to Shayne's shop in Kelso since it was the closest one at the time. It was a holiday so when we arrived the shop was closed, but by a stroke of insane luck we happened to run into him having a yard sale out front of his shop. He was super flexible with me and my friends as we worked out what to do and how to get back to Portland. I ended up leaving my car with him and he found the issue (a different shop had messed up a differential service) and addressed it. What I paid even ended up being less than my original quote.
Shayne was very responsive to my messages, even outside of regular work hours, and had a lot of patience with me even though I'm sure I drove him nuts with the amount of questions I kept asking. Car trouble is always stressful and this was my first experience with a big mechanical issue. I'm very glad Shayne was the one who handled it because he made me feel supported and like I had someone on my side the whole time. If you ever have car trouble or just need regular service and you're in the Kelso area, I highly recommend going to Shayne. He is a man of outstanding character and I am beyond grateful for everything he did for me.”

“They had built a custom radiator for a project and it was beautiful made to the specifics I gave them. Unfortunately I didn't realize that a hood hinge was going to interfere with the outlet. This was totally my mistake to have the outlet put where it was. I called and talked with a guy who said bring it in so it's back with them to fix my mistake. I'm sure it's going to work great once I have it installed.”

“I’ve had my 2024 Toyota Crown for three months now. And I have to say it’s been incredible.

I saw an ad for this car late on a Thursday night, and while I was admiring this car and thinking about how one day I’d possess a Crown, I accidentally did something to put me in contact with Chris.

He reached out the following morning and followed up with me. After I gave it some thought, I decided to give it a shot. We corresponded throughout the day over text while I worked and by the end of the work day, Chris and Jordan came to me an offer that was hard to walk away from.

The first thing the next morning, I made the 45 minute drive up to Kelso from Portland, in what would be my last drive in my Corolla Hatchback.
I got there, and Chris had the car ready for me to test drive. And what followed, I imagine will be the easiest car buying experience I will ever have. An hour and 10 minutes after arriving there. I was grabbing my possessions and putting them in my new car and heading back to Oregon.

“These guys are fantastic. I'm driving from Seattle to Portland and my air conditioning dropped down to almost nothing. This place is only 3 minutes off the freeway. Within about 2 minutes they found that my air filter looked like it had been through the woods on the bottom of a boot and my coolant was low. They didn't have my filter in stock and they still called around and got me one within 10 minutes. Appreciate you guys so much!”
