“I gave them $110. For scratch tickets and he shorted me 8 tickets then refused to give me my money, said I had to come back at 8 am to look at the video, so thats what I did, then at 8 am they said that I had to come back at the end of the shift when they count the till, saying they only count it at night, seeing my disappointment he said to come back at noon and so I did, just to have him say I only gave him 70$ instead of the 110 I gave him. He let me go look at the shotty at best video where you could not only tell how much money was exchanged, you couldn't even tell if it was money at all it could have been the green tickets I bought or the green bank card I used to use the atm to get the 100 out, all which I could prove. On top of it the employee leaned over the money with his arms crossed so he was blocking the camera when he is either stealing or they are both stealing from the public. . Please watch your change when you go here. Plus there are spider's all over its super dirty”
“I’m surprised by all the negative reviews. The pharmacists here do their best to go above and beyond. Yes there are long wait times, but I haven’t encountered another pharmacy without that happening. You have to figure out when they’re busiest and try to work around it. Like instead of calling at 6 pm maybe try earlier in the day. All I know is that these pharmacists do their best to provide you a service to the best of their capabilities. For example, when your doctor gets a prescription request from Walgreens and they send it to the CVS. The pharmacist will call and get it transferred. Another example was a pharmacist overhearing my struggles with my new insurance to get three prescriptions to treat an infection. They called and texted me later after I left empty handed with tears in my eyes (I was sick and stressed) and found me coupons to bring my out of pocket total to a reasonable amount.
Are there long wait times? Yes. Are they human and make mistakes when taking appointments back out of order? Yes. But given the other things that can go wrong at a pharmacy I’d say that those issues are not a priority. Develop some patience and empathy otherwise it’s very clear you never worked a job dealing with the public.”
“I understand the number of negative reviews over the past two years and sympathize with understandable complaints about long queues, wait times, refill errors, and glitches with Rite Aid's online reservation system. I have personally experienced these frustrations, but my experience is that the trouble lies in the hands of the corporation — not at all with the hardworking pharmacy staff. They're not responsible for understaffing, the sheer volume of RXs that the pharmacy has to handle, or Rite Aid's faulty online platform. Each time I have needed to resolve a problem, a pharmacist or technician has resolved it patiently and efficiently. While waiting for a pick-up, I can see pharmacists working nonstop and technicians helping TWO customers at a time at the checkout. I've found every employee to be courteous, understanding, helpful, and fast. I think wait times have improved a lot in the past several months, and I was honestly amazed by my recent immunization appointment: In and out right on time, in under two minutes. I agree with other commenters who think we should show some understanding of — and appreciation for — employees who clearly do their best to do a professional job and fulfill such important responsibilities. A little understanding and patience can go a long way.”
“This business is a hidden gem and a staple on the island. Tucked away in the forest, it offers a unique experience - this is the place to go Sasquatch spotting. Lounge on the porch with a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich after a morning hike or have a local beer and enjoy entertainment like live music, trivia, or a chat with the locals.”
