She is so down to earth, thorough and her empathy and compassion is appreciated beyond words. Her gentle demeanor keeps my fur babies comfortable and happy. A small incision and our dog was fine in every way which we were surprised to see. The doctor called afterwards to check on her. There were just no problems. No worries with Dr. Dieden.

138 Second Street, LangleyStopped by for a quick bite to go in the morning. I ordered a morning glory muffin and a cappuccino. They also had a variety of huge scones that looked very tempting. The morning glory muffin I got was moist and delicious, and the cappuccino was good. The only downside was that I had to wait a long while for the one cappuccino, even though the place was not busy. However, food was good so I would recommend.

221 Second Street Suite 9A, LangleyIt was indeed the best ramen on Widbey and def one of the best in the Seattle area. We got the classic tonkotsu and shoyu ramens. Both were really good. The broth was so rich and flavorful that we finished every last drop.
The only downside was the price - even by Seattle standard, it was on the pricey side to have a ramen bowl for $23 before tax and services.

111 Anthes Ave, LangleyNot my first time eating Whidbey Pies, but it was my first time at this little location- I really should have bought a whole pie for Thanksgiving- but instead I bought a slice of pear-cranberry pie. Omgoodness- it was delicious and very similar to apple pie. Shockingly so. Since I didn't buy a whole pie, I had to bake my own- but this is definitely a wonderful substitute if you don't bake! Highly recommend!!

Village Pizzeria
106 1st Street, LangleyI was really looking forward to my lunch here. I thought it was a nice neighborhood pizza place. Now I realize it's geared more towards the tourist trade. Don't get me wrong, the location is great with great views. The server was friendly but lacking. The food on the other hand was disappointing. When my uncle and I saw the spaghetti with olive oil and butter we were sold, but who gets meatballs without sauce? The spaghetti tasted bland, not properly salted while cooking. It also seemed like the oil was just poured over the spaghetti and not cooked in it. I didn't taste butter at all and it was cold, so I asked for it to be heated. The meatballs had way to much filler or binder and did not have the texture of ground beef. They were pretty bland as well. We asked for sauce for them which was actually really good. My wife's pizza was also disappointing. Most of the artichoke was tough leaves. The Margharite pizza had a nice sauce on a crisp crust but only little bits of tomato, a sprinkling of basil and very little cheese. We brought the left over pizza home, 2 halves, but we just threw it away. The focaccia bread was stale and had way to much rosemary, but the oil and vinegar dip with garlic was good. We had a good time there even though the food was disappointing. We had a great view and we were able to have a good conversation. We found street parking right out front. We did not get an itemized check, just the hand held card reader to scan.
