Pet Care

Animal Hospital By the Sea
114 Second Street, LangleyI have been a pet owner for decades and have encountered many vets in my time. Dr. Jean's practice is the kindest, most compassionate, and caring veterinary office I have ever encountered. She and her staff have helped me through some extremely rough moments and joyful ones too. It has been such a gift to discover this practice, we are lucky to have them on the island. You and your pet will be in the best hands.

Animal Hospital By the Sea: Dieden Jean DVM
114 Second Street, LangleyWe were so pleased with the great results of how the spay operation on our beagle was done. A small incision and our dog was fine in every way which we were surprised to see. The doctor called afterwards to check on her. There were just no problems. No worries with Dr. Dieden.

Langley Kitchen
138 Second Street, LangleyEnjoyed several visits here during our vacation stay in Whidbey. It quickly became our go-to morning stop due to friendly staff and good coffee and pastries. Waiting area outside was nice for the whole family. They were genuine and kind, interacted with our kids (five of them), and made us feel welcome. Their coffee was also very good. They even took the extra time to make some good island visit recommendations. We are so grateful we tried this place on day one!

Savory, a restaurant
220 1st St, LangleyOne of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The tasting menu was incredible, every course was genuinely delicious and beautifully done, with no weak spots at all.
The service was on point, friendly, attentive, and never over the top. And the vibe was perfect, relaxed but special, the kind of place you want to stay longer than planned.
Absolutely worth it. I’ll be back.

Whidbey Pies Pie Shop
111 Anthes Ave, LangleyNot my first time eating Whidbey Pies, but it was my first time at this little location- I really should have bought a whole pie for Thanksgiving- but instead I bought a slice of pear-cranberry pie. Omgoodness- it was delicious and very similar to apple pie. Shockingly so. Since I didn't buy a whole pie, I had to bake my own- but this is definitely a wonderful substitute if you don't bake! Highly recommend!!

Double Bluff Brewing Company
121 Second Street, LangleyDouble Bluff has been one of our go to spots in Langley since we moved here! The staff is friendly and chill and it’s a great spot to grab a beer or two— especially in the summer when you can enjoy the outdoor area.

Spyhop
317 Second Street, LangleyWe came here for dinner knowing we might be late for the ferry, and from the moment we walked in, Carol , the hostess, took incredible care of us. She guided us to a table quickly, made sure our order was rushed just right, and the service was so warm and efficient. We absolutely loved the fried pickles—they were fantastic! I had the chicken burger, and my husband had the French dip, both of which were wonderful. Even though we had to take our food to go, the staff made sure everything was perfectly packed. We were really touched by how Carol looked after us, and we would wholeheartedly recommend this place!

Prima Bistro
201 1/2 1st St, LangleyThe food was very mediocre. We ordered a Caesar. It was dry. I ordered a side of salmon with it. It was the smallest piece of salmon I’ve ever seen… My friend ordered the Caesar with shrimp and they were minuscule.
Disappointing

The Braeburn Restaurant
197 Second Street, LangleyFood was top tier, fresh qualities and made with care. We ordered the Shakshuka and The Braeburn, and finished every last bite. Service was spectacular, attentive but also gave us the privacy needed to explain our feast. Ambiance: brightly lit, with tasteful decor. Fun and charming vibe.
