My dog is reactive and he was so good and gentle and knowledgeable about how to calm my dog during the grooming process. He offered us a de-shedding shampoo and my dog came home SO SOFT. We also did nail trimming where previous places tried and couldn’t because my dog was too reactive. I am very impressed and will absolutely be returning.

Cascade Pet Hospital

A different, larger vet hospital carelessly left an IV catheter in my cat after her surgery and I unfortunately only noticed when I got home. I had just let her out of the transport crate, she was so traumatized from being at the vet for 8 hours and going through surgery that I really didn't want to shove her back in the crate and go all the way back to that vet to get the catheter out. Out of desperation, I carried her to Cascade since it's a nearby hospital. I explained to them how it was left in her and they were very compassionate. Even though it was not their mistake to correct without even thinking twice they took her back and removed it for free and even put a little bandage on the wound on her arm. I was so pleased with the care that I switched to this hospital for her primary care needs.

522 NE 165th St, ShorelineI’ve been here a few times and up until yesterday morning I had no issues. When I walked in, immediately the energy felt off. There was a new guy hired, I honestly can’t remember his name because of how uncomfortable he made me feel but if I had to guess, I believe his name was Torrence. He didn’t greet anyone coming in, at least nothing I noticed and something that really bothered me was how close he was standing behind the woman taking out order. To me, it was uncomfortably close. That fake smile plastered on his face told me he was more plastic than the micro plastics in his body. If he was training the woman taking our order that would be one thing, but he just stood there with this creepy smile on his face. Part of the reason I loved coming here so much was the fact that it was ran by women of all types and they made it feel like a safe space. I did not get that same feeling after this last visit there. I know this is just my opinion, but there’s something off about this guy and I don’t like his aura/the energy he brings into this establishment. I stayed there for a while to enjoy my food and drink and that weird energy I felt did not leave until he walked out of the building. But to each their own right?

509 NE 165th St, ShorelineYou would imagine that this place has an aroma of Coffee.. or something, but you would be amiss, it's just the name, but what you do get, is good coffee. I'm meeting a friend here to catch up, to talk... and honestly, I had never thought about coming here for coffee, even if it was only 12 minutes from my place. Yes, the building was an old Service Station for you know, your car, so if anything the place has that on the outside, but the feels.. it's not that on the inside, per se. Where you get coffee and where you sit and chill, are two very different places. What used to be the service station office is where you get coffee, and where they used to service cars, is now where you sit comfortably, tables spaced apart nicely, and the decor is the place that makes you wonder why not.. in a good way. The coffee is Fidalgo, which is a good strong flavored coffee. They have a rotating mixed coffee drink of the month, and it's delicious. They don't bake their own goods, which honestly if you can't, then don't. What they service is packaged, but from reputable local businesses, so worth trying. Overall, you need a place to just work, to chill, or have a good coffee, this place meets and exceeds that.

Wife was pleased with her meal, and kid ate some my meal because kids change their minds often. Service was wonderful and felt welcomed warmly. Atmosphere might not be for everyone, the charm, and character of this place beats any upscaled restaurants/breakfast boutiques. Will be coming back.
