“There is an arsenal of food in there; but you can't expect it to be perfect. 1. Not all necessary food items are here (as far as I'm aware). 2. On days where there are lots of customers, there is only 1 or maybe 2 lines to deal with them; I've seen 6 people in front of me in line, it took a while. And 3. If you are new here, it may be difficult to know where the thing you're looking for is, especially if it isn't in the store. There is a gas station though, so that's nice.”

“The cook & cashier, her name is Mary, made the best turkey melt and added the special items I asked for in addition. I’m telling ya, it’s worth the trip out to that lil store for the food and the service. That lady had me rolling with laughter. Great Customer Service!!! Thank You Mary at Little Rick WA Chevron!!!”

“These days the cheapest place to get groceries. Of course you have to fight the dreaded older, entitled women who haunt the isles and stand in your way rudely, but if you can work past the rage, it's an awesome store.”

“Absolutely love this place. Olympic Mountain Ice Cream, hard to find drinks, pitted dates, amazing fresh fruit, and a wide variety of food from local shops. Neighborhood staple!”

“If you don't care about dated food, this is an amazing little store. They also sell non-food items at reasonable prices. The produce is not the freshest - no, scratch that - it's not the best looking but it's cheap!”

“As someone who worked many years in the Service Industry, this place is dangerous. The prices are good to great, and the amounts are huge. I could spend WAAAY to much money here.”

“Cute friendly little convenience store by the lake. They offer propane exchange, gas, ice, meals, snacks, bevarages(no fountain), beer, and household essentials. They have a little fishing dock across the street. Prices are average for convenience shopping but way worth saving a trip into town.”

Won't buy that one again but have other great meats!!

“09/15/25 Today I called in a couple of times to ask if the store had some things I needed atm. The same person answered the phone both times (The calls were only a couple minutes apart) and each time the person working (Lindsey, perhaps was their name?) was very kind, quite quick to answer the phone (which was nice), and I was very impressed that they seemed to just know what felt like everything in the store-- Aisle numbers and everything! I also appreciated that they physically checked the aisle on my behalf as well. Thank you, Lindsey!”

“This is a great place for a family outing. On this night, we watched many types of races including Bump to Pass and Boat races. Get there early, the ticket lines are very long. Even with online tickets, the lines are long. Once in, the concession lines are long. It is just the way it is. The races are worth it. Great entertainment on a Saturday night.”

“Nice market with fresh produce, a deli and baked goods. I've only dined in once and have to say the top floor has a great view. You can also get coffee and check out the plants at the entry. For those that are new and checking out the deli, you order your food then take it to check out at the register. The soup and salad bar is self serve. The service is mediocre, depending on the individual staff. Some are more willing to smile and engage with customers while some are just rude and can't even seem to properly take an order. When you're providing service it's very detrimental for your business if you don't train your staff properly. The bakery has really tasty pastries and cookies. I would definitely go back to try other things on the deli menu despite the mediocre service, but I have explored and discovered lots of good local delis in the area and will take my business where they have good customer service versus some where with mediocre service. I would've given a five star review if service was better, but I feel the 4 star is already quite generous. My fish and chips were okay, the salt and vinegar fries were really good, and the club sandwich was good.”

“Love this small, locally thriving, Old School mini Mall. Every business here is wonderful in its very own niche way, please don't hesitate to visit these accommodating and kind people. The taco truck is really good, and so is the Greek place, haven't tried the Asian restaurant yet, but have always found most of what I was looking for at the grocery next door. ?”

“8/15/2021 It's a gas station and convenience store but the entire town is out of everything (consumer goods and food) currently due to restrictions on freight/transport issues currently. Don't rely on local supplies.”

“They're open late which is a plus, there's always at least one or two resident tweakers roaming about aggressively panhandling and on occasion you might see someone stuck leaning out into the air where you think they're going to fall over but nope if you want him for long enough they just keep leaning farther and farther forward not sure how it's done but they do that. On an ultra rare occasion and This is a treat treat, but you may see a leaner stuck leaning as the 10-day high on meth guy wants to get by him but can't so they have this weird no language confrontation in which the leaner leans and the tweaker tweaks but like anything there can only be one victorious one and that's the excitement, is the tweaker going to be able to go in there get his bottle of butane and finally " fix " That damn thing or is he going to get set in the infinite regression loop in which the leaner leans and the tweaker tweaks and no one gets anything which amounts to a draw but usually has to be broken up by one of those thug life peeps who is Just hanging out looking for an opportunity to smoke on some of tham paks”

“I can get free food here if I use my credit card, it doesn’t even take money out of my account! My old feeble dad said I am in debt but I don’t get it because I am not paying anything.”

“I like Safeway because their employees are usually kind helpful and knowledgable I know they would bend over backwards to make certain their store was safe from bad expired or foods gone bad tripping or slipping hazards or bad people Thanks Safeway I feel confident all your stores have good employees”

“This is the nicest supermarket in the Tumwater area. They sometimes have off season fruit like raspberries and strawberries in the winter and they had fresh ginger, items I couldn't find at Safeway and Walmart. They have a nice cheese department, too. In fact they have everything, which also would explain why their prices are slightly higher, but you pay for the convenience.”

“This is a little shop on the edge of town. No fuel, small selection and convenience store prices (not low), however, this little shop has shown how to treat their customers. Friendly, helpful and they leave their personal judgements at the door. Regardless of why you are in the store, they are there to help. Whether it is for junk food, alcohol, cigarettes, or an apparatus to smoke something else, they got you covered. Decent prices for the last ;)”

“The new owners and there nephew have absolutely remodeled and cleaned this place constantly. I absolutely look forward to stopping and getting my hot momma and diet Pepsi on the way home. They really have stocked the shelves and the crew is reinstalling gas pumps as I type and they will be operating soon. I would absolutely recommend stopping in and giving it a try for your new store stop. Wonderful place and people..”

“In the three years I've lived in the area, I have never had a negative experience. The owners are very pleasant, helpful, and kind. I really like the recent updates they've made. A bit pricey on some items (OTC meds) but other than that, this is my go-to convenience shop for a quick snack trip.”

“Great little store in/out can drive through. Has air and wheelchair accessible. Could offer a few more items inside as far as snacks and conveniences but the staff is nice and its open late. I gave four stars because I struggle with the gas pump handles. A few of the spouts are really hard to compress to keep the gas pump from clicking off.”
