I have been going there for years, since they first opened. They’ve gone through a series of new owners, but they have kept the same yummy menu and make the sandwiches just the same as the first owner. I love the Turn Turtle and the Goofy Foot. The Goody Foot is a vegetarian sandwich, but I always ask them to add turkey and they gladly oblige.
The portions are filling! Definitely better than a Subway!

Friendly, helpful employees. Not a place to eat at unless weather is decent, as the only place to eat is outside. We usually take the food to go and go to the beach!

Everyone raved about their meals and the food came out quite fast, considering it was dinner time on a Wednesday night in October, they weren't very busy. The service was okay, not quite as attentive as we'd have liked, but adequate. The decor is nice inside as well, but not stuffy or super fancy, so I'd feel comfortable having either a casual meal or a nicer special occasion meal here.

504 Pacific Ave S, Long Beach2 reasons why they don't deserve a 5 star rating. The young lady who greeted us yesterday was obviously annoyed that customers were coming in. After being told it would be 15 to 20 minutes with 3 open tables and I'm disabled, use a walker, you know she wanted us to go elsewhere. We didn't and got a table right away with a server that was overwhelmed because young lady left her alone on her first day. The second reason is because they put the crab on the English muffin so it was hot and cooked by the hot egg and Hollandaise so it tasted more canned than fresh. It seemed fresh so I don't know why they would do tha and not put it on top. Definitely going back though. Clean place. Friendly server. Tasty.
