Woody's Wabbits
92767 Allen Rd, AstoriaGot some great deals on leg snares and fur conditioner. Customer service I would not expect from a rabbit store. And they gave me the directions I needed to Taggart's Camel Land Adventures. Not Rascally at all.

Brut Wine Bar and Bottle Shop
240 10th St, AstoriaI believe the owners name was Lisa? Anyways my first visit to this place was very nice. I went with the intention of having a glass of wine and a little snack to journal. Had 2 great glasses of Resiling and a nice assortment of olives, cheese, mini pickles etc. Lisa was very happy to offer me some tastings of the available wines. Super cool because sometimes trying something new doesn’t always work out so it was great to taste a lil before making a full decision. I recommend stopping by to try something new and even walk out with your own bottle for home.

Pilot House Distilling

Busu Eatery Astoria | Japanese
275 11th St, AstoriaStopped by last week and had the special which I will butcher in my attempts to describe but was essentially an egg pancake with lots of good stuff in and on it. I have passed this place on my way to get carrot cake a thousand times so was glad to finally get to try it. I also ordered the pickle sampler (again who knows what its actually called, not me) this was delicious and I could have eaten thrice as many lol. The guy working was very nice and told me prices were donation based. I honestly never know what to do in these situations so I just paid whatever he said the regular price is. Next time I will order the congee and see what that's like. Portions are huge so plan accordingly in terms of your appetite.
