I can’t say enough , our pup Odessa has been with Dr. Ditlake since he opened in 2011. And when it came down to her final day, Dr. Ditlake went above and beyond to make her and our family his only priority . He made sure everything went smoothly and our pup Odessa was as comfortable as she could be. Dr. Ditlake is a compassionate, kind, real down to earth professional. He is a master of his craft and genuinely cares about you and your pets. It’s hard to find a vet of his calibre and I will go as far as it’s hard to find another human being of his calibre.

Buttercup Ice Creams & Chowders

35915 N Hwy 101, Nehalem

This was such a cute place in between coastal towns in Oregon. If we hadn't already eaten lunch, I definitely would have tried some of their chowder as they had interesting varieties. Since we just needed a snack, we got some ice cream, and it was fantastic! The flavor was unique (some kind of chocolate, but I can't remember the exact name), and the servings were generous. Great little stop!
