Bistro
263 N Hemlock St, Cannon BeachWe had the best meal last night at Bistro. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed and treated like old friends. We were early for our reservation but JJ seated us without a problem at a lovely table by the window. There was live music in the dining room that was perfectly fitting for the atmosphere. Our waitress was Trinh and she was so knowledgeable about the menu and specials and present just the right amount. Chef Jack came out and sat down by us and said hello after we mentioned to Trinh that we have dined many times at one of his previous restaurants. He is kind, welcoming, and you can instantly tell that he cares about all of the important things; flavor, freshness, passion for ingredients, and is proud that almost the entire menu is made in-house, including dessert. We ordered the appetizer special, tikka masala prawns and they were to die for, the chutney and cilantro sauces that accompanied the dish were phenomenal. I ordered the Vietnamese Caramel Chicken, and my husband had the Cioppino with soba noodles. Both were outstanding with an amazing depth of flavor. We would order both entrees again. We enjoyed the ganache and crème brûlée (the evening’s flavor was lemon) . The ganache was rich and decadent with its pecan crust and the crème brûlée was refreshing and smooth. This restaurant is definitely a gem in Cannon Beach and our new favorite. We can’t wait to come back.

Cannon Beach Smokehouse
131 W 2nd St, Cannon BeachFirst off, server is extremely nice. Then we saw there were Gundam models , which we chatted with the server about. Then, the food came out. We got the cheese curds, then the ciabatta sandwich with BBQ chicken wings. This food will have you slapping your belly like a seal. It is sex in a dish. It’s superb. Do not pass up the chance to try this place, it has 900 reviews avg 4.5 star for a reason.

Public Coast Brewing Co
264 E 3rd St, Cannon BeachPublic Coast was the perfect first brewery stop after arriving in Cannon Beach. After getting our first glimpse of Haystack Rock, we walked the beach and made our way through town to Public Coast… and it was well worth it.
The Oswald IPA was excellent, the food hit the spot, and the outdoor spaces are a standout. We especially enjoyed relaxing around the fire pit on a cool early-June afternoon.
We happened to visit during their 10th anniversary celebration, which meant live music, free cake, and a fun community atmosphere that made the place feel even more welcoming.
I also appreciated the story behind the name. Public Coast is a nod to Oregon’s landmark Beach Bill and the state’s long-standing commitment to keeping its beaches open and accessible to everyone. It feels especially fitting when you’re sitting there after spending the day enjoying one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the country. (Public Coast Brewing Co.)
A great spot for a post-beach beer, a casual meal, and a taste of what makes Cannon Beach special.

Bill's Tavern & Brewhouse
188 N Hemlock St, Cannon BeachThe halibut fish and chips was very fresh, lightly battered, and perfectly. Delicious! The service was very good, considering that we stopped by on a very busy summer Saturday night, and front patio seating was enjoyable.

Seasons Cafe
255 N Hemlock St, Cannon BeachI am not a local, but visited Cannon Beach with my sister and her family who are locals. I had never been here before and OH MY WORD....It was yummy!!! I had the clam chowder and it was the best I have ever had. The California sandwich was SO GOOD! Turkey, avocado, cream cheese, on a cinnamon roll bun? Who would have guessed. I LOVED IT!!! The staff is super friendly and helpful. My sister and her family are Vegan and they had great options and it did not cost an arm and a leg to substitute options to make it vegan. The house wine was also amazing! I'm taking my husband with me in September, and we will definitely go back to this restaurant. Thank you Seasons!
