“Good size store, strange arrangement and selection though. Things were not where I expected them and some books were not in their section but were on a random featured table.”
“I stumbled upon this charming bookstore and instantly fell in love with its cozy atmosphere. The shelves are filled with a diverse selection of books to suit every taste. What sets this bookstore apart is its support for local artisans, offering a range of locally made items that add to the store's unique charm. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, making the browsing experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a welcoming bookstore with a great selection and a commitment to supporting local businesses, look no further. Highly recommended!”
“I could spend all day in this store. It's local, community-centered, and they have everything you're looking for plus many things you didn't know you needed ? You can even take a break in the little food court. My favorite is the Mediterranean place. But back to books. Buy them!”

“I LOVE this place. It is a wonderful bookstore with a strong community event focus too. It's reasonably priced, a great place to hang out and peruse the books and engage with others. I've seen high quality musical performances and the monthly events calendar is packed full of great jams, intellectual and cultural events. This is a place well worth supporting and telling your friends about!”
“There is so much stuff here, I don't even know where to start!! But the staff is always ready to help you find that perfect thing that you didn't even know you were looking for!”
“The dude running this place is awesome! Had a really good conversation with him, very passionate and knowledgeable. Respects everyone’s tastes too, great selection and organization. Good prices too”
“There is something special about being able to browse books in person and expose yourself to new authors and titles. Staff is friendly, helpful and ready with recommendations.
Northgate location is very convenient, with plenty of parking and public transportation close by. This store has music too (Vinyl and CD's).”
“Fair prices, for good reads.. Top shelf inventory of books. Topics include but are not limited to: Crafts of all kinds, kids reads and historical and religious beliefs. There's vinyl, as in records... Plus, CD's and DVD's. You'll find greeting cards, calendars, and book markers too... Journals for journaling... Small gifts for yourself or someone else. The staff is helpful and friendly too. The only negative, or a slight deduction may be... I don't get some of the organization, or arranging of books, but that might just be me.”

“This nature walk is delightful. There are some shaded portions of their boardwalk that have gotten a bit funky with algae or something that can make it a bit slippery, and I suggest only going on dry days if you have any mobility impairments.Their artificial stream/fish viewing area is unfortunately skippable. Every time I’ve looked it’s been so dirty/murky there was nothing to see. I feel that it could be better maintained.Their hours are also a bit limited and I really wish they were open on Sundays as that is usually the day my family likes to go on nature walks. But I love the walk and I love supporting the foundation through membership and their cute little shop.”
“Lots of helpful books. Birding supplies. Centrally located, north of UW. More than birding, they provide information that explains the ecosystem in which birds live their cycle of existence.”

“Such a warm, cozy and lovely bookstore with a really sweet and inviting owner! Great variety of brand new and gently used books, featuring new releases, classics and a wide range of genres! Was so glad to find just the book I was looking for (The Kite Runner) at such a steal, and I really loved the warm cozy ambience of this place, with 2 huge armchairs right at the entrance perfect for reading ☺️Travelled 45 minutes to Kirkland for this bookstore and would definitely recommend! Please do support this local mom and pop store and keep them running and providing great reads for the community for a long time Noticed that they also have a book club which meets every second Tuesday of the month at 6.30PM, for anyone looking for community events and discussions ☺️”
“Just what you're looking for in a shop-around-the-corner kind of bookstore.Great selection and friendly folks behind the counter to help you find your next read.”

“It's a good comic book store. There are lots of items to look at, and a good collection of back stock comics at decent prices. My only gripe, they won't let you look thru the silver age boxes behind the counter. They respond with, "What are you looking for in particular?". When I just want to see what they have, maybe find something worth buying. Other than that. It's a good store!”
“Quaint little bookshop in downtown Edmonds, WA. We went here for those last-minute stocking stuffers, and they didn't disappoint. Wonderful staff, very eager to help, and a great supply for most readers.”
“Helpful staff, easy to navigate store, And yummy coffee! Came in looking for a specific book and was able to get help finding it! Love B&N, keep bookstore alive!!!”

“Just tried the store for the first time. As soon as you enter, the energy feels great and it smells amazing. They have a large selection of Crystals and books. They have Incense, Dried herbs, teas, Jewelry of all types, statues, calendars and gifts. Greg was very helpful and I appreciated his time and insight. I did not catch the name of the person that checked me out, but they were also very kind. I am happy to have such a wonderful store close by and I look forward to going back often”

“We visited for the first time last weekend and came back this weekend. Such a fun store! So many fantastic children’s books, toys, art supplies, and games. On top of that, they have craft and science kits for older kids. So many stuffed animals and puzzles too. Such a great, local spot for purchasing gifts! We can’t wait to continue shopping here.”
“Wonderful welcoming staff, same great vibe as Eastwests first incarnation, Edmonds is a perfect spot, charming downtown with lots of shops and its only about 15 min from Seattle!”
“Covid-Specific review focused on the Food LifeLine service provided on campus: The drive-thru line of cars begins building up before we have arrived (10:40-10:45 am) each Tuesday morning in anticipation of the boxes of produce and occasional offerings of dairy products including yogurt, milk, cheese. The staff are plentiful, efficient, friendly and safe. Each wear masks and gloves, speak to you from a distance through car windows then packing boxes into your car (trunk/backseat as you request) before waving you through to the exit. Of the three visits we have made, we haven't waited more than 15 minutes to get through the line-up.”
“I have loved this Bookstore and Marty since I was a student at Bastyr, Marty was the primary factor which made it special. He always remembers alumni and helps students & alumni with their needs. I came in to purchase supplies today (2/2/24) to find the bookstore closed and learned Marty and 20+ others were recently laid off d/t budget cuts apparently. Rhis is a tremendous loss to all who have and will ever need to usethe bookstore services. Extremely sad loss and poor decision by the powers that be. The 4 stars areall representing Marty's past contributions to this community, the missing star is for the horrible decision to let Marty go, I'd be angry if I weren't so shocked.”
“Great staff, all very friendly and considerate.
I had one employee go out of his way to get me a few volumes of a book I wanted. Even after I told him not to worry about it, he caught up to me with the books in hand!”
