“My appointment was 07:00, and I didn't arrive until 15:00 due to bad weather leaving out of Kansas city. The gard, which was a nice lady, was very respectful. She called Celia-manager to see if they can unload me today or tomorrow. She was able to unload today, which I am very thankful for, especially after having a bad week. It's nice to be treated like a human being, especially in the trucking industry.

“We shop here quite a bit. They have good prices, especially on meat. Their meat cutters are nice and will work with you on your cuts. The cashier's are always friendly and the bakery always has good stuff going out as well.”

“Nice place with tons of affordable options. All the departments are well put together. The store is nice and tidy and they have a great wine selection. I’ve also had great conversations with both owners of the place and they seem to be real nice people. It’s not often you find a place that feels like it isn't ran by a big cooperation. “Prices are a bit high, HOWEVER, this store has one thing that no other store (at least to my knowledge) in Southeastern Washington has: Peruvian products. Here you can find Inca kola, panetón, ají amarillo congelado, maíz morado, and many more. This stuff doesn't come cheap, but good luck finding it anywhere else.”
“My lady friend and I were traveling with our two grandkids taking them back to Zillah when we needed to make a quick rest stop. I turned around and came to the Hiway Fruit Texaco. There was a sign on the door stating "No Public Restrooms". I went in and the gal behind the counter referred us to be who I figured was the owner. He led us back to the employee restroom. I know he didn't have to do this but he showed grace in a unpleasent situation. Thank you so very much for your kindness to someone you didn't know. “Horizon market was a cornerstone of my childhood. One of my fondest memories growing up in mabton was running over to what was then called the blue sky market to grab a strawberry banana jumex and conchas on my way to play basketball at the greencourts. They are great. Anything you need - they’ve got it. My family has since moved from the mabton area and still, if I’m within 80 miles of mabton and I don’t bring home their home made tortillas I am disciplined by my parents. I am a full grown adult. Horizon market will forever live in my heart and hopefully in the future continue to live in my stomach. Long live the blue sky market tortilla.”
