“My lady friend and I were traveling with our two grandkids taking them back to Zillah when we needed to make a quick rest stop. I turned around and came to the Hiway Fruit Texaco. There was a sign on the door stating "No Public Restrooms". I went in and the gal behind the counter referred us to be who I figured was the owner. He led us back to the employee restroom. I know he didn't have to do this but he showed grace in a unpleasent situation. Thank you so very much for your kindness to someone you didn't know. “Prices are a bit high, HOWEVER, this store has one thing that no other store (at least to my knowledge) in Southeastern Washington has: Peruvian products. Here you can find Inca kola, panetón, ají amarillo congelado, maíz morado, and many more. This stuff doesn't come cheap, but good luck finding it anywhere else.”
“Stopped in to get a cucumber drink??? delicious and my son go a Strawberry drink. Love this store for the delicious hot Hispanic food as well. I order my birthday cakes as well.”

“Looks like an older Safeway that they’ve updated remodel the bed and spruce it up so it looks a lot nicer and modernize so they have pretty much everything you can water need here in certain easy to find location of a definitely come here again”

“I lived in Sunnyside. I needed stuff. I needed stuff I didn't know I needed until I saw it here!! Kind of fun to shop here but for me the artificial lights blast and the clothes did not look was good as I hoped.. so I tripped out to the parking lot and back again in a few days or weeks. They have more to buy here than anywhere else in the area. And driving to Yakima is no picnic nor guarantee that one will find things to buy either.”

“People complain about customer service here. I haven't experienced that yet. Usually the cashiers are very attentive. The store tends to be well stocked im the evenings. Great little store for our town.”
