“They worked on my 2009 Subaru forester engine and wow. It took a bit of time but for me and my situation it all worked out perfectly. I’m grateful for their understanding of my situation. I am grateful they were able to work with the mechanic. My mechanic said he will be using them again in the future. I don’t foresee any problems but if any do occur they will be my go to shop. My problem boils down to operator error and poor engine year. My many thanks to this company.”

“I’ve used American auto repair for everything from getting my side mirror replaced to general upkeep/maintenance, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else if you live in or around Spokane. The mirror fix was perfect, and everyone was so honest and helpful. Jason offered such great advice for what to do with upkeep to keep my warranty good, and it’s so incredibly helpful to have someone you trust in your corner when you are a car owner who doesn’t know much about cars. The dealership had scheduled some maintenance work that wasn’t needed for another 20,000 miles and would have been quite expensive. The recommendations of what to check and what to make sure to do with the dealership/what I could get done here were really great, and I’ve needed to get my tires checked and hadn’t gotten around to it because it felt overwhelming, and being able to ask questions was wonderful. 100/10 would recommend this place to anyone. Quality work. Honesty. And kindness, even for someone who has no idea about her own car.”

“I was absolutely blown away by the work performed on my 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan. My car was backed into by a construction truck with its lift gate down in mid-September 2024, shattering my back window and ripping a hole in my left rear side panel. The team at J&M gave me a quick estimate and went right to work ordering replacement parts and matching paint. While it did take about a month for my car to be repaired, the end result was well worth the wait! Great customer service and communication!
