After coming back I’m sure glad I did the new people that bought this store are awesome people very fair prices amazing people that will brighten your day every time. “I stopped here while traveling in the area for work, and it was such a gem. I picked up vegan chocolate mousse (tofu based), a samosa, a vegan black forest cookie, a house marinated tofu sandwich, roasted lentils, roasted edamame, and an apple. The food kept me well fed and happy during my 3 days in the area, and I even stopped by again on my last day in town. I really enjoy visiting co-ops while traveling for work so I can grab some vegan food/groceries and souvenirs- this did not disappoint!”

“Was looking for food while staying at the family cabin and The BLG appeared as the closest location for food. The reviews looked great so we headed over.For what seems like a small shop, it is very quaint and offers many items for sale from your typical gad station snacks like soft drinks and candy, to a full menu of hot food to beer and liquor. We got 2 orders of the chicken strips and fries and 1 order of the mac and cheese bites. 15 minutes later we had fantastic hot food. The mac and cheese bites were great and there had to have been a pound worth of fries and chicken apiece. If you find yourself in the Big Lake area this is sure to satisfy your cravings!”

“A really nice mexican store! I have been to most of the mexican grocery stores in the Puget Sound area, and this is the only one in which I have ever found fresh Oja Santa! Also, their sweet bread is pretty darn good too. Highly recommend if you are in the area!”

“We actually drove from Lynnwood up to Mt Vernon to go to this Walmart. This is a really beautiful store. We've always found it to be neat and clean, with lots of selection, and items that we can't find at the Walmarts closer to home. Sometimes Walmarts can be chaotic and, well, we've all seen the "People of Walmart" pictures, however this location just doesn't seem to attract those. The staff is friendly and helpful and in all, it's worth the drive up to it.”
