“We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms are quiet and the bed is very comfortable. It was nice having the bedroom closed off from the rest of the room as my wife gets up about an hour before me most mornings. The kitchenette is great, but we didnt cook anything while there. The bathroom is huge, but only 1 sink. There are currently renovations threoughout the hotel so hopefully the dated carpets and curtains are replaced. The staff at the front desk were super belpful.”

“Stayed two nights and had a great experience. The location was convenient in Oak Harbor. The room was clean and tidy and the staff was friendly in every encounter and helpful as well.
The pool wasn't open when we were there but we were told we could ask for a key at the desk to use the hot tub.
There is no laundry on site but we were able to go to the sister property, Candlewood Suites, next door and use their facilities for free.”

“We both enjoyed our stay here, me in particular. I have a huge weakness for kitsch. Yeah, the interior doesn't have high fashion decor, but how many hotels have a huge windmill in front?
Also, the beds were comfy & the room was mostly quiet. The building is set back from the road a bit, which diminishes the traffic noise. The room had a fridge & microwave, too.
The only minor issue is the F-18s roaring in for a landing nearby, but that doesn't happen constantly, and much less after dark. You can get a good look at them from the second floor passageway, too. It was pretty cool.
The breakfast was good for a small place, except for the cereal selection. All 4 were kiddie varieties, and there was nothing with a decent amount of fiber. But the seating area is cosy & has lots of windows.
The service was friendly, and the location is nice. Being on the main road, you can get into town quickly. There's a Mexican/American restaurant next door, so we just walked over there.
I'd stay there again.”
“Very old rooms with outdated bedding carpet curtains tv furniture Bed was comfortable for a one night stay
I was was challenged by the clerk over my service dogs documents but I challenged him back”
“Stayed here 4 nights. It's a fairly quiet building, no slamming doors waking me up. Beds are comfy, rooms are spacious (just 2 of us though). Bathrooms are small and the sink is outside the bathroom so that may help some families. Housekeeping was very accommodating, kitchenette has everything we needed, laundry was clean and available, breakfast foods were ok (we brought our own stuff really). What I really want to discuss is the water pressure...not sure if it's for water saving measures or the pressure is just weak but it takes forever to fill up a coffee pot or wash your dishes...be prepared for that to take a few more minutes! If you have thick or long hair you'll need extra time for your shower too. That's is really my only complaint...the water tastes good but it's just slow. Overall I would definitely stay again. It's a nice walk down to the NEX or up the hill to housing. Beautiful scenery!!”
