If they don't have something in the hot case that you want you can ask them to make it and they'll make it there for you on the spot, you just have to wait for it to cook. Best snack and candy selection of any gas station I've ever been too. Tons of drinks and if you're into beer or drinks, they have a walk in cold beer fridge that seems to have a lot of options. They even have some essential items you may need, IE: small laundry detergent, toilet paper, milk, oil, etc. Cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen in a gas station and they employ some of the most kind, friendly and efficient people. Overall, I will choose this gas station for any quick needs or wants over any other.”

    “The only Safeway I will get breakfast burritos anymore. Most of the other locations have really dropped the ball on valuing breakfast customers. They resorted to just ripping the ingredients in half and that's it. When you eat the burrito you don't get a mix of ingredients, because it wasn't properly made.Tanya is so awesome. She cuts up the ingredients like you're supposed to and the burritos end up delicious.”

    “Friendly and great service. Has a gas station. Has other stores like mud Bay for pets and it has a Subway place it is got all kinds of other stores in the parking lot area. RV friendly parking while you shop. However pharmacy customer service is very overwhelmed and will show with body language and demonstrating frustration. They will take walk ins but appointments help much better so they said. Upon having an appointment you still face the same overwhelmed experience demonstrating there customerservices they deliver that need very much attention in training. Several attempts and didn't change. First time experience was great contacting the last three different times. I opted to go to another safeway in bonnylake WA where it was a refreshing experience and it showed proffecianalisim and ethics. Hope they reflect from this.”

    “They dont make fresh French bread and their prices are not as cheap as Safeway on some items but their is a good selection and having home goods and clothing is an added plus but they are more expensive than Amazon on the flip side it is nice to be able to hold and try on the item before hand instead of guessing it will fit or it is made well so there is a trade off if I need it now uncle Fred's is great took the star off for no fresh French bread ... all and all its comparable to Safeway if it was closer than Safeway is for me x2 stores I might go there more often Safeway has better deals on meat and quality seems consistently better tho I may be partial since I've been an Albertsons and now Safeway shopper my whole life and safeway honors every competitors sale price if one is diligent enough to do their homework and clips coupons like my dad taught me to do . 4 outta 5 aint that bad”

    “This Safeway is on Meridian by the Fair. It is an older building, so it is not as flashy as the new stores, but it has everything I need in it. It is not the closest store either, but it is not too far from me, and some of the sales they have make it worthwhile. I have used the pharmacy there, and it, along with the staff, was pretty good!”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
