“September 2026. I have two dogs as well. I continue to see Dr Paulson and both she and the rest of the staff are great Cascade Heights Veterinary Clinic has the best staff possible. I had seen Dr. Kathleen Paulson when she worked at another clinic. I have transferred my two cats to her clinic. It is more convenient to my home and I appreciate the family - like atmosphere at Cascade Heights. Dr. Paulson is a very knowledgeable and professional doctor. I trust what she tells me and she is conscious of the difficulty some owners may have in paying high vet costs. She will explain her decisions carefully and present alternatives if needed. I am overjoyed to have this clinic in our neighborhood.”

I have been going there ever since, And this morning, I had to take that dog in to be put down. Never have I had a complaint about them. Dr. Ross and Dr. Ivy, we’re both wonderful, Caring, compassionate and never recommend any Unnecessary treatments. My experience these past 11 years has been nothing but five star. I may not Get another dog due to my advanced age, But if I do, I will definitely go this place as long as they are there.”

The facilities were clean, and most importantly, Martey came back from getting bloodwork happy as a clam. They were upfront about cost before any tests or vaccinations, so there were no surprises. Test results and comprehensive guidance were offered shortly after the visit via email. We'll gladly continue Martey's care here and will confidently recommend the practice.”

“We switched to this vet after having issues with our old vet about 8 years ago. We have been satisfied customers since then. They have decent bed side manner and can quickly diagnose issues with your pets if any. My only pet peeve with this business is how they handle prescription refills. Many prescriptions you can order through regular pharmacies. Most other vets you call them and they call the pharmacy and then the pharmacy calls you once complete. This vet does it the other way around. Not only is this confusing if your pet needs medication for a health issue that could turn the other way around quickly. You can't be bothered with an annual check up before you place a prescription order in. This is frustrating and miss leading as a client. If my pets did not need prescriptions I would not bother with annual check ups. I have dropped the semi annual check ups as they are in good health and it is a waist of money. Not sure why the vet put privacy film over the doors as my pet loved to look into the offices.”

When her time came, Mercer Island Veterinary Clinic not only gave us her ashes in a gorgeous box, but they also provided a paw print, a letter, and some of her fur in the shape of a heart. “We just switched to Renton Vet in June from Banfield as we moved and it came highly recommended by a co-worker. I have a German shepherd and had 3 cats at the time. I was quite pleased with Dr McLean and staff. One of the techs was a “cat whisperer” and easily trimmed all the cats’ nails and drew blood with no stress at all. Sadly we lost our oldest (8) sweet boy to a freak car accident only a few weeks after our intake appointment. The entire staff handled all of the business necessary for a private cremation with the grace, sensitivity and kindness I would expect of a long term relationship instead of only 3 weeks. While I miss my baby every day, I can’t say enough great things about the quality of care we’ve received from Renton Vet. Reasonable prices too!”

They are both rescues from the racing industry and I wanted a vet who was knowledgeable about how to treat the conditions that can result from such an abusive environment. I'm soooo glad I found Dr. Kim. He is so good with my hounds (who can be a bit shy) and he is very thorough. Everything was explained plainly and with compassion. By the time the check-ups were over, Dr. Kim had created a plan of care to best suit the needs of each hound. The results really speak to the level of care and attention to detail this vet gives to each creature he treats. As a bonus, his prices are extremely fair and much cheaper than other clinics but without compromising the quality of his practice. You can trust this doctor to have the best interests of your pet at heart.”
