“Had to break my apartment lease to relocate for work. I was dreading moving- it’s always such a pain… but this was easily the smoothest move I’ve ever experienced! The JVA moving crew were meticulous in packing our belongings- it was dumping rain and they wrapped just about everything we owned to ensure it did not get wet; we didn’t even have to ask, they just did their thing! And FAST. The load and unload time was extremely impressive, and the men who worked on our move- Tom, Cale, and Tyler, were so respectful and considerate- totally went above and beyond. Not a single item was broken or damaged; which is to be expected with pretty much every move. My wife was also extremely impressed with their work ethic and manners. They are great with dogs too;)

The parking lot, halls, and storage units are very clean. It looks like they must clean the halls pretty frequently. The indoor parking lot for loading and unloading feels very secure with a code to get into the building as well as the elevator. There are well-maintained carts for bringing things to and from the storage units. The elevators operate smoothly and quickly.

“When my family relocated from Seattle to Sweden we hired Rainier Overseas Movers after a long process of speaking with and obtaining quotes from half a dozen international moving companies. Our shipment was towards the lower end size-wise for an international move, only a few hundred cubic feet.
Missy was our primary point of contact through the entire process from scheduling the initial inspection, pickup/packing day, and connecting us with the local company in Sweden that they contracted with for the last mile delivery. She was exceptionally helpful in explaining the intricacies of the various fees, customs process, insurance types, etc and spent several hours on the phone with us across multiple calls to answer all of our questions. Throughout the process she was always responsive by phone and email and kept us up-to-date as our belongings made the long journey over several months.
Having never planned or executed a move of this scale before we learned a lot throughout the process, but across all of our conversations with Rainier I never had the sense that Missy was BS-ing us. I cannot say that of some of the other companies we spoke with before making our choice. In particular Missy helped us save money on shipping insurance by tailoring our purchase to fit with our existing home insurance coverage.
If we find ourselves moving back to Seattle I would not hesitate to work with Rainier again for the move.”

“Very unfortunately, they are no longer at that address. I would imagine they just relocated as they were AWESOME movers!! They packed my belongings very carefully and efficiently, they REALLY know/knew what they were doing. I gave them 5 stars back then, a few years ago, and 5 stars again a few months ago when they just moved a full sized bed and frame and like 3 other small items for me. They will be missed!! If I need to move again though I'm gonna look for them! Oh they have a Facebook page I'm pretty sure! If you need to move ANYTHING ANYWHERE in the country, HIRE THEM! They really are FANTASTIC! .. and the movers and owner are nice! They have to still around somewhere, they were thriving!!”
“My wife and I needed somewhere to keep our stuff while house hunting. We originally chose this place because the units were accessible until 11PM every night and the only free time I had during the move was late in the evening. Every time I was able to drop boxes off after dinner or grab something out of a box before bed, I was thankful that we did.
Also, every time I needed to talk to the staff, from move in to move out, they were exceptionally pleasant and easy to work with. Overall, they made keeping our stuff stored safely the least stressful part of a relatively stressful move and for that I will always be grateful.”

“My mom recommended James and his team to us to help us move into our first home, and I am so happy we went with her recommendation. James came by a few weeks before to take a look at what we had to move and give us a quote. I want to emphasize how kind and polite James was and how at ease he made this process feel. We also had to reschedule the move multiple times due to closing conflicts with our new home and his wife Marsha was quick to respond and very accommodating to our needs. On moving day he arrived with his team of 3 ( I forgot their names) and they were all kind, respectful and quick to get our things packed up and loaded in the truck. We had my kids with us on moving day, which I know can be less than ideal when trying to move quickly and efficiently but James and his team worked around them and also acknowledged any questions they had asked which was something I really appreciated . I hope to never move again but if I do, we will be sure to use them again.”
