“I came here to Jacinta's African Apparels, with 2 daughters to get measurements from Sister Jacinta. I learned of her through word of mouth. I had never been here before. Upon arrival, she offered us water to drink and a place to sit while we waited for each other to get measured. This lady was so wonderful to us. She talked about her being from 🇺🇬. We told her we we were German/Kurdish. She taught us where to get food from local African restaurants before we head back to our town. My daughter found a similar Kurdish type dress and even some Indian ladies' clothing. Jacinta is currently making a full outfit for me since she now has my measurements. Here is a photo of the material. I can't wait for her to call me that it's ready for pickup. Check out @perfectly.unusual for the updated fit soon. Thank you, sister Jacinta, I told the Lagos man I want my material delivered to Washington so you can make my dresses. I'm excited to show you. He honored my wish!”

“I came in with a very unique situation. I came in wearing a pair of old Carhartt pants that I've never been able to find again. As I was browsing, Sky came up to offer help. Long story short, I found out I had an old design of women's pants. Sky helped me find alternatives in both men's and women's styles and I left with a really nicely fitting pair of pants and a tote bag. I did not walk in with any intention of spending money. “I wanted to buy a dress for my BFF’s funeral. Not for me, I told her son I would buy a long sleeve dress for her to be buried in. The funeral is Saturday in California. Because time was short and I live three hours away I called the store to ask if they had long sleeve dresses. Since we are heading into Spring / Summer I was afraid long sleeves would be hard to find.Lo and behold they did and Robin pulled some and put them aside for me until I could drive back up. I drove back to Tukwila from Ocean Shores and one of the dresses was perfect. It looked like something my friend would have worn. I truly appreciate Robin helping me like that. Windsor doesn’t carry plus sizes but she took the time to find dresses made with stretchable fabrics for me to try on and they worked out so well! Great hospitality from that young woman !”

“First visit in about 20yrs. Bright and clean. And employees outnumbered the customers that I could see. The pickup and returns counter is by the south street entrance, nearest the parking garage. The in-store directories will tell you what's on each floor, but not where on the floor.
I had an online order to pickup. The clerk wanted a barcode to scan the order number. Too bad, she had to manually enter the 16 digit number. 16 digits!
Suggestions to JCPenny. I know you want people to walk around, hunting the store, but if you want people like me to return then make finding areas easier. And a map of the store would be nice with the directory. Oh, and Include the order number barcode in the confirmation email, or a weblink in the text message to help out your online pickup staff.”

“Dylan Everyday Clothing is a cute clothing shop for women, men and kids adjacent to Alair gift shop. In fact, there is a doorway in between the two so you can browse the clothing and gifts and back and forth (and pay for all items on either side). The variety of clothing ranges from PNW casual (so many comfy hoodies) to fancy party attire (at least for women). I love that they stock a wide range of sizes for all body types. They also have some options for shoes and accessories like hats, bags, blankets and sunglasses. For the quality of the clothing brands, the prices are surprisingly reasonable! So many great finds!”

“Just wanted to give a shoutout to the staff at this location, in particular, Jennifer. We came in to exchange items from an online order because once again I couldn’t get the size correct for my teenager’s unusual proportions. We’ve been struggling to find the right size for the last couple years with little success. We’ve gone in to try to get her measured properly at the store next door a while ago but were simply handed a tape measure and told they don’t do that anymore. Jennifer at Soma, on the other hand, actually took the time to properly measure. She also pulled out several different styles as that, she explained, may affect fit and comfort too. She was quite patient and genuinely wanted to help us. Thank you so much from a grateful mother and a now less self-conscious and frustrated teenager who thought she would be comfortable only in sports bras.”
“So this is the second store. The frist store was at a place (store at BMI) where they didn't speak english. Sold me the wrong size and their policy was no return or exchange. There goes $300 down the drain.However LA Venezuelans was the best. She let me try on different styles and I was very picky. I had a short torso, wanted opening at the bottle and more. She found the perfect fit. If your planning on getting a tummy tuck with liposuction and breast, just go here, save yourself time and money. I WILL BE BACK TO GET MY NEXT Size down. Thank you.”
