Alexander's Bazaar is a unique shop offering an amazing collection of art, religious items, and treasures from the Far East and South Asia. It is more of a crystal and semi-precious stone shop than a traditional bead store, though it carries crystal bead options, natural stone strands, and a very minimal glass bead selection. The business is noted for its huge and excellent selection of freshwater pearls in many different sizes, colors, and textures, with very reasonable prices. The stock also includes a wide variety of incense, interesting charms, and carved pendants. While the shop is now at a much smaller new location and no longer in its former convenient district, customers find it a very worth visiting place to discover the perfect gift and many cool items from around the world.
Google profile & pics need updated, much smaller at new location & its more of a crystal shop and less so a bead shop. They have crystal bead options but very minimal glass beads. I wouldn’t classify this shop as a bead store.

Amazing collection of art and religious items from the Far East and South Asia. Wide selection of beads, semiprecious stones, incense, and much more. VERY worth visiting in person. Lots of treasures here!

I found some of the coolest stuff here. I had been many times over the years when they were located on Roosevelt but I was so happy to find them in my local neighborhood. So many treasures.
