Melrose Market, located at the west end of Pike-Pine on Capitol Hill in Seattle, is a historic indoor food and retail market housed in buildings from 1919-1926. Visitors can find a variety of shops, including the Rainshadow Butcher known for high-quality meats and Sankaku, a Japanese-owned onigiri and bento shop with a bar. The market offers a cozy atmosphere with unique experiences like the Greenfire loft, featuring books, candles, and cocktail labs. While some note that the market's hours may not be accurate, many appreciate the ethical, delicious foods and the ambiance of this charming spot. Overall, it’s a cool place with good eats and a welcoming vibe.
Super clean and well laid out. I ran in to buy beverages for a party - I was impressed with the wild selection of kombucha, cocktails in a can, wine, craft beer, and juices. Prices were in line with other supermarkets.
