“I'm not sure what has taken me so long to post a review for this shop! They are great!!! We started coming here about 3 years ago, when our other reliable mechanic (Paulco) closed down. I feel so lucky to have found Jori and his team. He is straight forward, fair, and honest. We've taken all 4 of our vehicles to him for service over the years (2 Toyotas, a Subaru, and a Ford). “I think I’ve left a review before but I had to come back to say again how wonderful Paolo and his team are. I have been bringing my car in for at least 6 years and every single interaction I’ve had is a good one. Specifically today my car was broken into and Paolo gave me so many options as to how I could get my windows fixed despite the shop being closed throughout the weekend. This in addition to the fact Car Tender was one of the first calls I made because I knew I would immediately and very kindly be taken care of. I have never felt hassled to spend more than was necessary; have always been given a clear understanding of the issues with my car and how they may be effecting the vehicle; and feel the staff are respectfully personal in their care. I genuinely look forward to going into the office when I come. I could not recommend them enough.”

I visited their shop to get tint on my Model Y after hearing positive things from Tesla owners on Reddit about Accutint in Shoreline. They didn't disappoint.

Michael was excellent in helping me coordinate my appointment, very responsive to me and helped me through my questions on the best type of product/tint level for my needs.

Gregg was the perfect ambassador for someone who was getting their first-time tint, helping show me examples and helping choose a personalized tint level for my vehicle.

The end result speaks for itself, the car looks great. I'm no longer in a fish bowl while I'm driving around, my car looks sharper than ever, and I get the added bonus of UV protection/heat rejection from the Xpel window tint.

They were also very helpful in coaching me through the first few days of the tint, reminding me how to care for it while it cures (mainly not to roll the windows down, etc).

I had a very positive experience and love the job they did. I also believe the pricing was quite fair for the level of quality.

Initially I had to have two appointments to get all recall fixes done, but the service center was able to do all the fixes at one appointment! I was so grateful! And all was done in a timely manner! “Zack and his team are true mechanics and staples in the community. The only spot I could find open on a Sunday. I called him Saturday night due to an emergency with my parents car who were visiting me in the area and he was able to get me in Sunday morning. “I wouldn't take my Volkswagen to any other mechanic in Seattle. Tam is the best, he has done multiple maintenance and repairs on my Jetta. He serviced the Timing belt, serviced the transmission, changed the spark plugs and ignition coil. All at the lowest prices I've found and always fast and reliable. “Bought a brand new 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV at Chuck Olson Chevy. After driving the car home about 65 miles away, there was an error and found out the car needed a transmission fluid pump and should not be driven. The Chevy EV concierge service had it towed to the closest certified Bolt repair center (Titus Will Chevy). Titus Will stated that the part was on backorder at the factory, and they had to wait for either the factory to produce the parts or checking stock at another dealership to see if they had the part and was willing to sell it to them. Titus Will could not give me a date and stated it might be 2 weeks or months before I would get the car back. I emailed the owner of Chuck Olson Chevy with a timeline of facts and asked what could be done. Greg authorized his shop to take the part off a car on the lot to get my Bolt back on the road. While the two dealerships were working out the details, another dealership released part. After 17 days of purchasing the vehicle issue was resolved. I have heard other owners with the same issue for months now and still haven't gotten their cars repaired. Thanks to the owner of Chuck Olson Chevy for offering to fix the issue if no part could be found.”

“The guys at Filmon are great. Our car is a 16 year old Saturn Vue and we frequently have things that need to be checked out. Filmon has fantastic availability (they can often squeeze small issues in same day while you wait when we call in the AM) and are incredibly reasonably priced compared to other places. They diagnosed an issue in 5m that had puzzled our grease monkey guys, despite being related to power steering fluid. We also had calipers needing replacement - they took them off to show us the issue and explained why one absolutely needed replacement compared to the other which could wait if we wanted to spread them out. The other well rated shop we got an estimate for didn’t give us the same info and would have been 30% more expensive. They’re kind too - have given us freebie help even though it took him about 30m (no parts). It’s a casual place - don’t expect fancy waiting rooms, shiny customer service, or other premiums you’d find at a dealership (that costs more money). Filmon has knowledgeable mechanics, gets it done for a good value and are trustworthy. We don’t go anywhere else.”

“Some pieces on my side mirror needed to be fixed as I accidentally popped them out. I went to the dealer and they reported I would have to replace the whole side mirror & it would be a $900 ordeal. I decided to take it to Sonny’s Auto Repair just for an estimate. The guy who helped me was SO nice, ran outside to my car, and completely fixed my problem within 5 minutes right there. I begged him to let me pay for his services, and he just said whatever I was comfortable with! He saved me a whole day’s mess and hundreds of dollars. Will definitely bring my car here again. They really just want to help people.”

“I live in Ballard, but I found that Loyal Automotive had locations both here and in Shoreline, near a dealer where I wanted to buy a used car. Loyal's Shoreline team was able to see the car on just a few days' notice, explained a fault they found, and even helped me anticipate any deflecting explanations that a dealer might offer about it. Their services helped me negotiate a lower price for the car, more than paying for my time. I'm planning to have the work done at their Ballard location, as soon as the part is in. Great work!”

“This dealership and their employees are the reason that I was able to lease a new EV recently! With family obligations at home, a long work commute and long work days, and being out of town on days off, I had absolutely no time to sit in a dealership for hours. I was first contacted by Mason, and he worked incredibly hard over the span of a couple of weeks to get me the information I needed. Mason checked in almost daily to let me know how things were progressing or if he was likely too busy with in person customers to help that day. When it was time to stop by in person on my way to work as we were close to an agreement, it was Mason’s day off, but sales manager Jim, and Kat, in sales, were up to speed on where Mason and I were in the process. That led to a smooth transition and with their help over the course of two, hour long drop ins on my way to work, along with the help of Sales Manager Dan, and Kellen in finance, made the process as quick and effortless as possible. Buying or leasing a car can be a rough process, and while there was a little negotiating, there was never any pressure or deceptive tactics. “Had to make an emergency stop here on my way to see my mom in the hospital. Brakes were failing and it was just a couple hours before closing on a Saturday. Not only did David and the mechanic diagnose the issue but they were also able to fix the car same day. Our 2009 Ford Escape needed new brake calipers, rotors, pads, and brake lines. Total came to just over $1500. I have no basis upon which to judge the price, but I super appreciate David and team getting us squared away the same day. David was kind, patient, and joked around with my 5 year old son. Thanks so much David and team for helping us out. I really appreciated it!”

“Great service. Kobo was super helpful. Used great communication when he broke the bad news to me that what I thought might be a free patch was not fixable, and told me my options for replacements.
