“I love checking out grocery stores in areas where we are visiting. This store is really one of those you have to see to believe. First, it’s huge and seems to go on forever. There are many different depts like seafood, meat, bakery etc. and they have everything. It’s amazing. There are numerous employees all over if you need assistance.
Four stars instead of five for the ridiculously high prices.”
“The old "Thriftway" organization of grocery stores here in the NW are no more. The only Thriftway store name is the one at Ballinger of which is now a lone family run store with not much clout to buy big like the big stores and sell cheaper, like the big stores can.
Yes, prices are higher here but their quality is good. Apparently they do a super-big wine market throughout the NW and western states. Produce is always like perfect but more than you will pay at the big stores.
Very convenient for all who live nearby and this population is growing.”
“This little store is a neighborhood gem. Family run with personable service. They cater to all the kiddos in the neighborhood who stop by to buy everything from candy, ice cream, and snacks to Pokémon cards.
They are often the first taste of independence for the kids, and we are grateful for the patience and kindness with which they operate.
They are kind, thoughtful, and patient to the kiddos who forget to use their inside voices or who to calculate the tax when raiding their piggy banks.
This little neighborhood treasure is where memories are made, rendezvous are planned, and friends hang out.”

“This is a good, simple food store. Unfortunately it seems to be a magnet for most of the panhandlers, shoplifters, and juvenile weirdos in Shoreline. The store has as much security as it can muster, but it's not enough.”
“QFC in Richmond Beach, is a gold mine of great employees and the location is extremely convenient to get to by bus, car, bicycle or feet, in the area. The only drawback (which applies to EVERY QFC) is their prices are inflated, as opposed to Safeway and Fred Myers. Which, NGL, has become more reasonable since they were bought by the Kroger Corporation. But all in all, the store is clean, well managed and well stocked. ESPECIALLY THIS store!”
“Ever since the new ownership has taken over within the last year this place has been very clean and well stocked. I'm excited that they added more fuel stations too, hopefully it'll be comparable to Safeway down the street.”

“Convenient location. I go here often for my shopping needs. The staff is very kind and helpful when I ask where things are. The lines here are short and this helps for a quicker shopping trip. Most of the time I just want to get in and grab what I need and get out. I would recommend shopping at this Safeway location.”

“A bit limited general selection but prices are mostly OK. However, NOT everything is as fresh as it seems, particularly items you cannot see in packaging. If you are careful and know local prices to compare, it's a convenient place to shop. They also carry many specialty items that I could not find anywhere else. The frozen foods section is great. When shopping, pay attention, they have relatively limited shelf space so sometimes what you want to buy may be on the shelf, just hard to spot. Great customer service; if you need help, ask any associate and they will competently help you. They do NOT accept S3 / health benefits cards.”
