“Really cool store with lots of cute things to buy. I will say some of the clothes they sell can be really low quality. They do have good customer service. I wanted a specific size for shorts. They were willing to call their second location and hold the shorts for me. Also they were willing to call me once they secured the hold. Prices are affordable and decent.”

“If you want items you'll never have to replace. I have my grandfather's tin coat and it had been used by a farmer and it is still in great condition. And even though I have worn it during some of the worst weather and during semi casual events. And this coat still going as well as day one with my grandfather and now me. “So sad to hear that Kuhlman is closing. For several years now whenever I pick up something new it's straight to Kuhlman to have Scott work his magic. He has keen eye, more than one person's fair share of skill and talent, and is always incredibly kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, and I will be keeping an eye out to see if he ends up opening a smaller more tailoring specific (less retail oriented) operation here in Seattle. If you are looking for a skilled and trustworthy go-to tailor I recommend you do the same. If not, it has been my pleasure to be a patron of his business, and my wardrobe is certainly better off for it.”

“5 stars all around for quality, price, and service! All of their products are local and clean which often comes with a higher price point; however, theirs is very affordable. My husband got a t-shirt that is one of the softest I ever felt, and I got a bottle of locally-made lotion which smells and feels amazing.The employee who was there at the time was super nice and helpful. He gave us an overview of the store and product recommendations and information. Since we were in town on vacation, he also gave a couple restaurant recommendations which we ended up trying and they were incredible.Local businesses are of course my favorite to support and I always buy clean, plant-based products when I can so this store was definitely up my alley, and the quality, pricing, and service would attract anyone.”

You can find a lot of rare denim on the internet these days, but what sets Blue Owl apart is the customer service. They are willing to chat with you for as much or as little as you'd like and are a great source of both knowledge and informed opinions. They offer free hemming and it is fast. Blue Owl Workshop is undeniably expensive and you can get a pair of jeans for fifty bucks at any number of places. But if you want high quality denim from Japanese and American brands, Blue Owl offers a great selection of hard-to-find brands and a high level of customer service. Well worth a stop if you are in Seattle.”

“Must confess, I hate going into stores where the first person to greet me is a guard. However everyone, guard included was very friendly. I went in to get work pants for my daughter. The selection is small for women, and even smaller for thin teens, but we found some pants that worked. I will probably return to find jeans for myself since I’m more into functional jeans than fashion. Prices are what you’d pay online. I wish this business were in Seattle city limits, but I didn’t have too much traffic to get there, so I will return.”
