“The staff was truely outstanding in helping get the right shoes to keep running with minimal pain, even were helping with entering a changed up toddler. Lost the last star due to a short sighted policy affecting the nation's protectors, disappointing that military service members only get a discount once or twice a year and not when they need to replace running shoes to be fit for the next demanding physical environment.”

I had an excellent boot fitting experience with Julia. Listened to what I wanted in an alpine boot. I consider myself advanced skier and aspiring to be an expert with about 30% on trail, 40% off trail and 30% backcountry/side country. We found the perfect fit for my funky foot. They were super chill with no high pressure sales pitch or attempt to up-sale me into too much tech that I didn’t need.
Highly recommend their rental shop and lease program as it saves time and money compared to on the mountain shops.”

“My boyfriend and I stopped by a few days ago to check out some bikes—it had been over 20 years since either of us had ridden, so we were feeling a bit unsure. Michael greeted us with such genuine enthusiasm and immediately put us at ease. He was incredibly knowledgeable, super patient, and honestly, really funny! His sense of humor made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable, and we found ourselves laughing while learning about different bike options.
Even though we didn’t end up buying a bike that day, we left feeling excited and much more confident about getting back into biking. Huge thanks to him for making our visit so positive and memorable!”
“I'll never buy clubs anywhere else again. I used their "100 day playability guarantee" recently, and they could not have accommodated more. Steve Amend, Steve Jackson and Ben Eaton let me take as long as needed splitting hairs between a couple of different options and were unbelievably patient when I was indecisive until the last minute. Could not be happier with how hard they worked to make sure I had a great experience and am blown away with how much time they spent with me during a few busy days.”
“The people here were friendly but we got our fishing license here a bit ago and just went on a fishing charter. That's when I realized the girls didn't give us our salmon catch card... just the crab catch card ? we could have been fined the times we went out fishing and didn't realize it since we hadn't caught anything. If you got your fishing combo license here you better double check that you have your catch cards for fish.”
“Nice sporting store with reasonable prices. However, they are limited on a variety of brands that you would expect in a typical athletic store. The sales people’s knowledge and recommendations of the store’s products are also limited, so it might help to do some research arriving. Nevertheless, what they carry meets the basic needs of gym/sporting equipment and clothing if you have to do a quick purchase and pickup.”

“This is a great dive shop. I got my Open Water certification here in 2019 and Nitrox certification in 2021. I recently used the dive shop to coordinate the online/book portion for my Advanced Open Water certification (using a gift card my partner got for me a while back) and Chris provided A++ customer service. They are always so prompt and helpful at the shop! Highly recommend!”

I believe her name was Amber and she helped us from walking in the door to helping a very elder gentleman in the store and even stayed with him on the outside while his car picked him up out front. “My son's school did their School shirt orders through this place and the shirts came out really nice. I will say it seems like their shirts run big so if you have a little one, keep that in mind as far as sizing. I had his name printed on it as well and it looks like it will hold up through a few wash cycles. I did call them a few weeks ago to check on my order and they were very courteous and friendly and actually took the time to look into my questions.”

“Steve, the manager of the store, is top notch. The entire team at the store is awesome as well. We had a major issue from a manufacturer giving us incorrect expectations and delivery dates, after Steve had already set the expectations with me. Weeks later, nothing had arrived, Steve called the manufacturer, found out the information they gave him to me was wrong, and instead of saying "sorry, it happens" he immediately asked how he could make it right. He made it right by a landslide, placing the order with another manufacturer and took care of the slight price change for the inconvenience. In today's world, the art of customer service has been thrown out the window. In a world where you have so many choices for stores/retailers, go to a place where you know that retailer/store/manager has your back -- Puetz is a great company and Steve is a top notch representation of care for his customers. I suggest going here 10 outta 10.”
“Store is dressed up very nicely as is what you’d expect at a bass pro/cabelas. It was pretty challenging to find help which follows an ongoing theme of understaffing at this chain however. What help I did find seemed uninterested and annoyed to be there. (Also looked kinda dirty but he didn’t shove a credit card in my face so I’ll give it a pass) Store is well stocked but the selection seems kinda sparse, especially compared to the online selection.”

“Eddie Bauer clothes are some of the best thought out and designed clothes. Especially their outdoor clothes. I am a huge fan of the new Evertherm down. If you layer with a base layer and a light mid layer, the Evertherm outer jackets will keep you warm through anything. The store itself here was great, with many of the clothes to try. I recommend the clothes here.”

“First off, let me tell you that I went to this store KNOWING that it caters to horse gear and tack.My problem was that my VERY LARGE DOG broke the hardware on his long(-ish) potty lead.After looking at Amazon and the like, I decided that wouldn't do.I wanted to *feel* the merchandise so to speak. Especially the hardware.So we wandered in and told the nice lady behind the counter (forgive me, I'm terrible with names) our issue.She took me right over to her stock of lunge lines.I got to examine the hardware and decided on one. The pricing seemed reasonable and I rather give my $ to a local, small business than to Mr Bezos. And I even got it in my boy's colour!Upon getting home and taking the dog outside potty, I just can't tell you how happy I am with this purchase!I just love the heavy duty bull-nosed clip and it's ease of use.
