“Small shop but full of knowledge, kindness, and great GREAT deals. Longboards, skateboards, skater shoes, hoodies, tshirts, hats. Owned by a dude that just loves skating and keeping the hobby alive and as cheap as possible for future generations to be able to participate.

We are in love with the longboard my daughter picked out. We got home at 10pm and she hopped on and said it was the smoothest ride she'd ever had. Great for her 14th birthday present! This board will hold its value for years to come.
The owner did mention that they get shipments but sell out fast! So dont be discouraged if you walk in and exactly what you want isn't in front of you- he will help you figure it out!”
“The staff was truely outstanding in helping get the right shoes to keep running with minimal pain, even were helping with entering a changed up toddler. Lost the last star due to a short sighted policy affecting the nation's protectors, disappointing that military service members only get a discount once or twice a year and not when they need to replace running shoes to be fit for the next demanding physical environment.”

“Outstanding ski tune up! I gouged my skis to the core on a rock. Needed the custom tune up plus 50% more. They came out looking like new! I can’t tell where the repairs were. And they skied great! Super pleased!”

“I really appreciate Stew, the proprietor. He's a very nice, laid back guy. He's helped me get a loan when I was in a jam. He's always been very fair and very professional. He is open to working with you as much as any pawn shop operator can, and I couldn't ask for anything more. Sometimes I just like stopping by to browse his stock and see what cool stuff he has to sell. I've been surprised by his inventory and it's cool to find a good deal unexpectedly at his store. I really appreciate trying to get me into the best clubs for me and what was most comfortable as opposed to the most expensive clubs they could find me. “The people here were friendly but we got our fishing license here a bit ago and just went on a fishing charter. That's when I realized the girls didn't give us our salmon catch card... just the crab catch card ? we could have been fined the times we went out fishing and didn't realize it since we hadn't caught anything. If you got your fishing combo license here you better double check that you have your catch cards for fish.”

I was looking for a HEST pillow that appeared to be out of stock, and despite it being an extremely busy weekend with sales going on, she went above and beyond to track one down that was still available. She never made me feel rushed and kept me updated throughout the process.
Not only was she amazing, but every employee I interacted with was kind, communicative, positive, and genuinely eager to help. That welcoming attitude and shared passion for the outdoors is what makes REI stand out. “The salesperson was friendly and welcoming. He said hi welcome in. If there's anything I can help you find let me know. He didn't following me around trying to make a sell. They didn't have what I was looking for. The store was clean. They were moving some displays around. There were some shoes here and there which is to be expected.

“Needed a part for my ancient DUI drysuit. Wasn't having much success until I called Chris at UW Sports Tacoma. He didn't have the part but steered me to their Seattle store, and they sent it down to Tacoma, which was easier for me to get to. Chris helped me and didn't charge me for the part or the service. Excellent customer service!”

“Store is dressed up very nicely as is what you’d expect at a bass pro/cabelas. It was pretty challenging to find help which follows an ongoing theme of understaffing at this chain however. What help I did find seemed uninterested and annoyed to be there. (Also looked kinda dirty but he didn’t shove a credit card in my face so I’ll give it a pass) Store is well stocked but the selection seems kinda sparse, especially compared to the online selection.”

“My son's school did their School shirt orders through this place and the shirts came out really nice. I will say it seems like their shirts run big so if you have a little one, keep that in mind as far as sizing. I had his name printed on it as well and it looks like it will hold up through a few wash cycles. I did call them a few weeks ago to check on my order and they were very courteous and friendly and actually took the time to look into my questions.”

“Matti helped me get with getting into a fitting room and I had just realized I had left a bag of purchased items somewhere in the store and wasn’t sure where. Matti was so helpful and reassured me she would do her best to find it for me while I waited at the dressing room. She was able to locate it within a few minutes and brought it to me. “The only place I've been able to get shoes for the past couple of years. See I wear size 14 - 15 men's and shoe places normally don't stock sizes that large. So finding something I liked wasn't that big of a deal elsewhereHowever sizes are.”
