About Courtyard by Marriott Spokane Downtown at the Convention Center
Courtyard Spokane Downtown at the Convention Center has a central location close to downtown, universities, restaurants, and the airport. The lobby area is nice, clean, and updated. However, the rooms are very old, outdated, and tired, with brown carpet and brown furniture. Some rooms have an old, musty, stinky, or mildew smell, and the carpet can feel wet. Construction or renovations are ongoing. The hotel charges for parking in its lot, which is noted as an extra fee. The front desk staff received significant criticism. While the location is convenient, many guests state they would not stay again due to the room experience and issues with value.
My room was amazing. Looked like brand new carpeting and furniture..I had a river view! Bathroom was spotless bed was great. The bistro downstairs had everything I could want and the people at the front desk were friendly and informative.

There is no longer a pool or hot tub and was a huge disappointment to my kids. We would have stayed somewhere else if we’d known. From the pictures listed here, it shows a pool & hot tub.

We stayed for a hockey tournament we came from the west side and it was great to stay here. I would like to mention how sound proof the rooms where. It was amazing. I only wish the baths had fans in them.
