The Centennial Hotel is located right on the river, within easy walking distance of the downtown mall, restaurants, and sports arenas, which many guests note as a great and convenient location. The very large, open lobby is described as clean, bright, and inviting, housing a restaurant and bar. Experiences with the staff vary; many found the front desk staff to be great, helpful, professional, and efficient, while service in the restaurant and bar received significant criticism for being understaffed and slow, with one instance of refused cocktail service. Guest room experiences differ widely. Some rooms are reported as clean and updated with comfortable beds and showers, sometimes featuring convenient access to the outdoor pool. Other reviews, however, cite significant issues with specific rooms, including unclean showers, unpleasant odors, poor lighting, unacceptable noise levels—especially on busy weekends—and views primarily of a parking lot. The hotel appears popular with teams and can be very full and loud in common areas at times. While the breakfast is noted as good by some, the buffet is also considered overpriced. Overall, many guests would stay again and recommend it for its location and value, though experiences with room quality and dining service can be inconsistent.
I had a lovely stay: the room was clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the Spokane River!! And the staff were kind and helpful :) 10/10

Attended a luncheon in the Skyline Ballroom and a Gala later that evening. Beautiful hotel. Clean. Staff was very friendly. Would love to actually stay there sometime.
