“Attended a wedding here. The outdoor setting was very good on a warm Autumn evening and felt secluded despite being in the Browns Addition neighborhood. The "mansion " itself was nice bit smaller than what I had imagined.”

“This is a very interesting place to eat and drink. Lots of cozy locations for tables tucked into odd places in this former working industrial space. The bar is more traditional with high open ceilings but also a cozy but communal feel in their long tables. Plenty of screens to watch games. The food is always good and often great. Fairly traditional menu done right. Even with the interesting layout of tables, management has figured out how to keep every table served. No complaints at all!”

“Very good, very big hotel. The service was outstanding at the bar and both restaurants. I spent four days here during the NCAA tournament, and a giant volleyball event for children that was being played next-door at the convention center. So the hotel was very busy yet It was always easy to get food and service. The rooms are very large and everything was perfectly clean and nice. The location next to Riverfront Park, Convention center, Spokane Arena, Gonzaga University was awesome. Very easy to walk everywhere I went, even to the city bus that takes you to and from the airport, which is fantastically convenient.”

“A very classic theater. The seats are a little uncomfortable and it is a small theater. The show was good and they have drinks and popcorn. The drinks need a lid, but if you are careful, then you will not spill it. The theater is old and it could use some cleaning. Not a bad experience. We had fun. I would not take small children here.”

“Absolutely an amazing winery. They are among the best of the best in Spokane. We stopped in for a tasting, and had a blast. The wines are excellent and their is a Speakeasy in the building you can escape to for dinner after. Perfect date night, but stock up on wine for the home.”

“We hosted a memorial service at Tamarack Event House and it couldn't have been a better place for a celebration of life. Teresa went above and beyond for us, I couldn't be more grateful. We had a very large turnout and the staff was amazing to cater all the needs of our guest. Food and drinks were amazing as well. Would definitely recommend this beautiful space to anyone looking to host an event. Thanks again Tamarack!”

“We had our end of season rollerderby ball at the womens club tonight and it was a great space for our party. The staff was present and helpful. And the facility was perfect for our needs. Thank you Women’s Club for the use of your space.”

“Private event space using the oldest building in Spokane. Owners operate numerous other area eateries, they deliver a memorable experience every time. Look for events open to the community throughout the year, including themed dinners and plated paired wine dinners.”

“My Step Mother came into town and I wanted out of the house. Decided to go to this little aquarium.Absolutely! So much fun! And great for families! Will definitely be returning.I paid $112 for 20 tokens, and 3 adults. WELL WORTH IT.”

“Classic Hotel in a convenient location. The most friendly staff in all areas of the property. Upgraded room was appreciated and while the rooms can use an update they are of high quality and the beds are super comfortable.”

“Okay, some very good and some "hmmmm".... Stayed in September, 2023 and the room was very clean and pleasant. However, after being out all day and coming back to the room for our second night, the beds were still unmade and the damp towels/washcloths had not been retrieved and replaced. Obviously housekeeping never did its job. The staff were pleasant enough, though there is little to no comfortable seating in the lobby area. I didn't want to disturb my traveling companion, so I sat in a chair by the elevator to do my early morning reading, which felt a little weird. Also, there is no free breakfast. Didn't use the pool area, but it looked great from the window.”

“Hotel and room was very dirty and run down. The pool and the hot tube was closed. Very disappointed in our stay. I feel like it was money wasted and should have went elsewhere.”

“This is a hidden gem and by far our favorite winery in Spokane! They don’t advertise a lot because their wine speaks for itself…especially the ONYX selections. We’ve been coming to the tasting room for years in Spokane as well as visited the gorgeous winery near Benton City, WA. The Spokane location is our favorite because the manager, Mary, is incredible and makes us feel like part of the family. Occasionally, there is even Salsa dancing to watch/participate in, live music, and sushi events on the weekends. Don’t miss out on this incredible local Spokane winery.”

“Great stay at the Courtyard in Spokane. The location was perfect for an event at the Convention Center, which was a quick 5-10 min walk along the waterfront. The staff was wonderful and helpful. The little cafe had good quality food for both breakfast and dinner/drinks. The only downside is they didn’t have a two queen room so our teenagers were on the pullout sofa. It was not very comfortable, but very few are so that was about as we expected.”

“My daughter had a wonderful birthday party here. Experience with the staff was good. Daughter and her friends seemed to really enjoy the time with the coach and playing in the in the foam pit, the climbing structure, and gym. Overall great time and would recommend having a birthday party here if your child is into gymnastics.”

“This is my fourth time staying here. The location is stellar; basically anything in downtown Spokane is within walking distance. The hotel is incredibly quiet, and the rooms are spacious. Working with the front desk is always a very smooth and seamless experience, as is the valet service.”

“Cathay inn offers an exceptional dining experience in Spokane. Their fried almond chicken is a must-try, with tender pieces coated in a delightful almond sauce. Don't miss their homemade fresh dumplings either - bursting with flavor and made with care. Plus, their alcoholic drinks are refreshingly cheap, adding to the overall value of the experience. With affordable prices, attentive service and a welcoming ambiance, this is my top choice for Chinese food.”
