White's Boots has a rich history rooted in the logging industry of West Virginia before the Civil War, where Otto White's family originally made calked boots. In 1902, the tradition moved west to Idaho, and by 1915, it flourished in Spokane, Washington, under Otto's leadership. Otto's goal was simple: to make the finest work boots in the world. His dedication to quality and craftsmanship helped build a strong reputation, and each pair of boots reflected this commitment. Today, White's Boots is known for its high-quality, handmade, American-made footwear. Customers praise the store for its friendly and knowledgeable staff who provide excellent customer service and help with custom fitting. The variety of boots, workwear, and outdoor gear is extensive, and the products are appreciated for their durability, comfort, and support. Many reviewers highlight the supportive leather soles and the boots' ability to fit like well-worn gloves, even for those with foot issues like bunions or fallen arches. Customers also value the handmade quality and the company's long-standing tradition of excellence. They note that while the boots may require some breaking in, they are built to last a lifetime and can be rebuilt if needed. International customers from Germany also share positive experiences, emphasizing the comfortable fit, thick leather, and attractive color of their boots. Overall, White's Boots is recognized for its heritage, craftsmanship, and dedicated service, making it a trusted name for durable, custom, and handcrafted footwear.

Pricey? Yes. Well worth it? Also yes. I love when one walks into the store, one can hear the hammer pounding of boots. This store is true blue Americana. They don't skimp. The prices are outrageous. But like we hear, you get what you pay for.
