“Love the general store, it's has a great centralized location and helpful employees and staff.I love to come here when I just need some quick random stuff. They've got a crazy mix of most things you could ever need without having to head to a dedicated hardware store.It's also got the benefit of having way more stuff than just hardware supplies. “Visiting from Phoenix, AZ, walking along Garland after breakfast and just happened to pass this store. Gold mine! What a great shop to find cool stuff for the Man Cave. Two CDs, two hats, two Star Wars collectibles and a Canadiens jersey later I walked out a happy man. The owner Jim is incredibly friendly and helpful. He's created a no-pressure shopping experience that makes you want to take your time and look through everything. If I get back to Spokane I'll definitely visit again; until then I'll be shopping online. Support local and shop small, this is a great spot!”

“Great Service, plenty of staff and nice holiday deals.My wife and I came into the Downtown Spokane WA store Sunday, Dec 10. We were immediately (and warmly) greeted by a young man near the front. After browsing a bit, we were approached by Kai asking if he could help us in any way, we asked him his thoughts on some apparel (we were shopping for our early 20 year old kids). He gave his thoughts, made recommendations. He was very engaging, warm, and a real testament to customer service. He was so helpful and engaging that I went out of my way to seek out the manager on duty Andy to let him know what a pleasurer Kai was for to experience.Overall I thought there was plenty of staff for the customers, noon seemed to be waiting, we had our dog in a portable kennel and our cashier was quick to acknowledge her and even say she could come out of the kennel as they loved their fur-Friends in the store.I have been in Retail Training my entire 25+ year career and know a well run staff. And this store had it. There was a fun buzz about the store, employees enjoying helping customers make holiday purchase decisions.Our cashier talked to me about their loyalty program and it turns out I was already a member and got a lot of points with our large purchase.We will be back!”

She wasn't a good representation of Torrid clothing - rather, she looked like she was wearing 2nd hand or discount store clothing. “Cece went above and beyond to make sure they had exactly what I was looking for. We went from display to display to find what i was describing to her all with a smile on her face, very friendly. She asked if I had the Buckle card, I explained that I didn't and wasn't sure I could be approved. We went on looking again for items I wanted. Linda the manager asked if I had the card, again I explained I didn't think I could get approved. Well needless to say with their help I was approved, I got the exact items I went in their store to purchase. I absolutely enjoyed both of these ladies..I can't say the same for the Valley store. Those workers are rude disrespectful and they judged us when we were in there. I would much rather drive the extra time to go visit the North Town store where customers are treated like friends.”

“Prices were decent and they were having a BoGo 1/2 off sale so I was able to get mom a pair that she liked. The floor staff was a little less than enthusiastic but efficient and I was impressed with the sales associate at the register turned a necessary trip that I usually kinda begrudgingly force myself to do into a cheerful and positive experience. That coupled with the knowledgeable highly skilled efficiency she displayed actually saved me an additional 10 percent by signing up for notifications ?”

“Nordstrom is the home of some of the best premium lines of clothing in Spokane. For me, they are the home for Indochino and a great quality custom suit. I honestly never thought I'd be shopping at Nordy's, but when Joseph A Bank left, it was the perfect solution since Tailored Brands had only the Men's Wearhouse left and they are not exactly willing to have me as a customer (too bad as I might've been able to give them at least three suits ordered; however they were more interested in yelling at me, telling me to "get out!"). Nordstrom however treats me as if I am the only one coming in and they go above and beyond the normal amount of customer service to be sure I am taken care of and that I am overall satisfied with their help. In all cases, I am perfectly satisfied and happy with all the Indochino Style Guides (disguised as Nordstrom sales consultants) have done for me, especially Jackson Decker! When you get good help, you don't let go of them. Now, all that is left to say is what about formal wear (tuxedo shirts, bow ties, cufflinks and studs and cummerbunds) for Christmas? The fact is that I probably would come through the door of Nordstrom for anything I would need than anywhere else in Spokane because Nordstrom wouldn't try to sell me without giving me the best service possible. Oh, if only the other companies out there would study this company's model of operation to see what they are missing! They'd be surprised.”

“It's Banana Republic which is owned by the Gap. So it is what it is considering it's a huge chain. The clothing itself is probably made as cheaply as possible and I've had a couple issues with stitching coming undone on shirts, but they always fix things and the staff is always super friendly about helping you try things on, even if you just want to browse.”

“This is a review after three years, and near 5 days a week wear. It is also in part a contrast to shallow negative reviews left by over-entitled and self important folks that given the world, would NOT be happy. Firstly the boots are top quality, and near bullet proof. Purchased the Cruiser model in black waxed flesh. Very little break-in needed, and had zero hot spots once tongue was broken in. Store was super busy the day I was there, with a little patience, the staff got to nearly every one and were very helpful. At least one person walked out mumbling under their breath about the wait time, and honestly Whites does not need a customer like that anyway. After about a year, my left boot developed a squeak. I took them back in, and whites took care of the squeak by re-bottoming the boots. Yes...... this took some time, but I was happy to wait, and cost me nothing. Not advertised as such, but these have been nearly weather tight. Many hiking trips, and backpacking trips where they have been in wet weather for hours/days and very little gets through to socks. They are costly, but considering a US made boot, by a family business, and opposite of the "Walmart" throw away culture, absolutely with the price IMO. After three years a hard wear, boots are still in perfect working order. If you're a nit-pick type, there is some uneven-ness to hand made boots. Go by cheaper factory made boot, or some fashion brand. Not a hand made boot. YELP..... you really need a thumbs down for reviews, which should include mine for those bothered by calling out the over entitled and self important. :)”

“Came in to get some new shoes for my brother, they were very helpful and not upset with how many selections we asked to see(my brother has a very particular style) we asked for some opinions we got them in very pleasant and even humorous responses, everyone in there was so nice! My brother and I are fairly outgoing and so was the staff. Not afraid of conversation, which was honestly refreshing. We came back again to thank them and they hooked us up with a slice of pizza! Shoes and a meat lovers slice, what more could you ask for ?”
