“New favorite of all the comic shops I’ve been to; There’s new issues, and tons of back issues from recent ones going back to collectible level, longboxes upon longboxes of great stuff in great condition. I would go here over the mall any day. I’ve been to dozens of comics shops, this is by far the most selection on the Eastside for back issues for fair prices. I don’t think I’ve seen a more organized back issue selection except at comic cons, and still not as vast. The owner is awesome and unassuming in the best way, & knows where stuff is. I can’t tell you how nice that is unless you’ve searched through thousands of comics looking for a proverbial needle in an unsorted haystack with an owner who couldn’t spare a moment to help you find what you’re looking for or they assume they can talk you into something else.
Also much more affordable than eBay after shipping. Some things are negotiable. So why buy online when you can buy local?”

“Ordered online, the only shipping option was free, which was great, but I wasn’t sure of the carrier or ETA. I texted them and they explained that they ship USPS standard and that I could call for more information or to upgrade. I called, and the gentleman on the phone was extremely helpful and offered to upgrade my shipping to UPS for no additional cost. It got to the other side of the state within one day. I really appreciate it. Excellent service and the product is as described.”

“Michaels is a life saver for us when we have last minute school projects due. We've stopped by multiple times over the years to pick up plain t-shirts for various school theme days so we can decorate the shirts, to picking up stickers and different holiday themed decorations. Michaels has everything from the fake silk flowers, Circuit machines, beads, cake decoration supplies, tie-dye, to other things I can't even think to list. We last stopped by to pick up a chalk board for the first day of school and some fun colored chalk - both were conveniently placed upfront in easy to find locations! If you can, sign up for the e-mails and you get a nice $5 discount coupon you can use. We like the discount, and it helps whenever we have crafty projects to complete. Staff have always been nice and friendly, and when busy, they aren't able to walk us to the aisle, but otherwise, we've been directed to the correct aisle. It's fun to browse all the different crafting things here, and the sales are worth picking up supplies for holiday decorations. They also had a nice selection of LGBTQ+ craft items like little pride flags, ribbons, and various rainbow themed items - we did pick up a spool of rainbow ribbon for rainbow day for school though, which was convenient.”

“I generally do not care for stores like this, but decided to get a photograph framed and went in with my three year old on a Saturday. I went to the framing counter at the back and Al helped me. Al was incredibly helpful, had an excellent disposition, and most importantly, helped me to make important design decisions and I am incredibly happy with the result. It is really apparent to me now that the success of these places can hinge on good customer service and good people, and Michaels has certainly found that person in Al at the framing counter. “I sold my gold chain here. The staff was very friendly and professional. They gave me a fair price and the whole transaction was quick and easy. I was in and out in like 10 min with cash in hand. I would definitely recommend checking them out. The only thing that was a bit off putting was the remote locked doors that require an employee to buzz you in but I’m sure it keeps the rift raff out which I actually like and appreciate.”
