210 W Liberty St, Charles TownThis was our first time here, we met our two sons for dinner. It's a great place and the atmosphere is excellent. We had the pot o gold potatoes and crab dip for starters, these were very good, between us we ordered the bangers and mash, the shepherds pie, the French dip and the fish and chips, all were good but my fish and chips was not as good as I expected the batter seemed soggy and the fries limp. Our server was very good and the others enjoyed their meals. These things happen from time to time. They did offer to make something else but took it off the bill. The Guinness was good and we may well return next time we're in Charles Town.

Briggs Animal Adoption Center
3731 Berryville Pike, Charles TownWe are a very pleased with the Briggs adoption center and the wonderful facility they have for the animals. They really care about all of their animals and made it a wonderful experience when we adopted our dog. They are pleasant, helpful and always willing to answer questions. The staff made the process of adoption, so easy and caring. I found it wonderful that they want news about our dog even after he was adopted. They maintain an interest in the animals they cared for at the Center. I would give a five star recommendation to this facility in West Virginia and encourage anyone that wants to adopt To go there and check it out.
