“The Save-A-Lot in Kenova West Virginia is the only place that I will buy any meat products from. The mests are always fresh and priced right, and now they have a convenient little deli now since they're rebuilt. it's a clean store, friendly knowledgeable staff, always seem to be busy, working hard. It's just the type of grocery store you want to go to. It's not all cluttered and crowded and full of unnecessary things like big places such as Walmart and Target, Etc.”

“I've never been in close enough proximity to an Aldi store to be a regular customer, and I've been missing out on a lot! This new store in South Point is clean and easy to navigate with lots of exciting food choices. I was especially wowed with the selection of specialty breads and cheeses. This place may not have all the items I need to supplement my regular grocery shopping, but it'll be a fantastic option when I'm looking for something novel to try. I have several products I'm eyeing to pick up on my next visit.”

“Shop there all the time. Great selection for a smaller store, excellent management. The manager has even ordered in special requests for us. The deli is my go to in the afternoon or after work. Their Thanksgiving items from the deli were delicious.”
“Gas pumps work well. I used a debit card to make my purchase so there was no interaction with a person. I like buying gas at Kroger because of the discount offered for my grocery and prescription purchases.”

“This place is the 1 stop shop. From diesel to water to engine oil and gasoline to finally groceries and off loading trash. If your on a towboat or speedboat this is the place to go. They even offer mechanic service and dry docking.”

“Penningtons is the only grocery store in our small town of Flatwoods Ky. So some residents go to the store multiple times a week or sometimes more than once in a day. I do wish they would be a little more considerate when hiring Cashiers because not only did I have a bad experience with an employee recently, my husband and my parents have all had a bad encounter with a new employee. On three separate occasions. She has blonde long hair and she's really a beautiful girl.... Until she has to do her job and then she shows an ugly, impatient side and if not for the Man over this store being Such an Awesome, trustworthy and reliable person, I may not have gone back. She looked at me and rolled her eyes at the elderly lady ahead of me for taking a little longer than most people, as if I was going to agree with that type of behavior. She did the same exact thing to me when I needed to put my phone number in to use my account points.”

But specifically if looking for meats(the pick 5 is still a budget helper), fresh veggies, and frozen entrees and quick meal helpers!If looking for certain brands or odd items, this is not place.But it is a good grocer for staples.”
“If you shop at Kroger a lot you already know every dollar you spend you get a point towards gas and once you get so much you can save a dollar on gas at the pump each fill up so that helps a lot especially right now when gas prices are the way they are right now!”

“I gave this DG 4 stars instead of 5 because some of the shelves were pretty empty. I'm not sure if this is a store issue or a delivery truck issue. The store was pretty clean. The cashier was nice and friendly and helpful. Be sure to be prepared for no carts when shopping at this particular DG because unfortunately people have stolen all of their carts but a couple. Very sad situation, indeed!!”
“GREAT SERVICE/ HORRIBLE MASK LESS CUSTOMERSClean store, staff was nice. I felt so sorry for the staff because about 80% of the customers did not have the common intelligence or courteosy to wear a mask. The five stars is for all for the staff having to work long shifts, mask on then having to wipe down for the next customer. Most of the customers without mask were mean which should explain the general person in this town and they should be embarrassed. I honestly believe the cashier should not clean the TouchPad if the next person up can't be bothered with a mask. They obviously do not care for anyone but themselves so why should they worry about a dirty TouchPad. I think the employees should receive raises! As far as inconsiderate mask less majority of this area should be made to feel ashamed and shown the lack of concern they send out.”
“I drove down to the Ashland area from Cincinnati & was looking for gas, so naturally, I stopped at Kroger. While inside, I joked to myself that I was visiting from the home office, since Kroger is based in Cincinnati. (They can't all be winners, folks.)Anyway, I wasn't looking for anything in particular, as I was still a couple hours from home, but I grabbed a Dr. Pepper for the drive. I used the self checkout, so I didn't really interact with anyone, but I was in & out pretty quickly.”
