“Like every Dollar General, in the United States, they're understaffed. Usually one, maybe two, staff working a shift, who has to run the register, AND find time to restock the shelves.
Ideal if you're cooking dinner, and realize *you forgot a key ingredient, like taco seasoning, and lettuce, and sour cream, for Taco Tuesday, when you went grocery shopping. *I didn't forget all that, my wife did, but we're not laying blame.
Need something for a school project, they'll probably have it, unless your kid told you the night before, and then, it's like trying to get decent Valentine's cards on the 13th of February, you're going to end up with cards from The Last Jedi movie, and anyone, who likes Star Wars, knows that was 100% the worst one.
Pretty wide variety of stuff there. Similar to Lowe's, I am coming out with at least 5 things, that I were not on my list, as there will be some browsing required to find certain items, which is an intentional business practice.

A decent enough home repair section that you can fix whatever you broke, but it probably won't look pretty. Should've went to Lowe's if you wanted pretty...

“Great value. I could not believe the prices were so fair. Anywhere else you go, a bag of chips is $2.69 and a cold soda is $2.00 or more.
I got 2 hotdogs with everything and they were really tasty. Also they offered pinto beans and cornbread which I love, and vegetable soup, but I didn't try those, just nice that they have it.
Plus they had some good looking produce. It looked pretty fresh to me but it also means you can have some onions to go with your pintos.
In the times we're in these days I wish there were more stores like Buddy B's.”
“This store has been around since my mom was a child. One of the "Little Man" stores that has somehow managed to keep going. The people here are great and they have the best potato and macaroni salads ever! The kids call it the candy store because they have good candy. Also great produce and flowers for mothers day and other holidays as well.”

“The Dollar General on Sissonville Drive is the place to go. I recently bought some chips, Knorr rice sides, and peanut butter. “Awesome store, workers are always friendly and helpful. They were making sure kids and collectors were able to get pokemon cards by enforcing limits and preventing scalpers from buying all the stock as soon as it was put out. It was working great until a single greedy person complained that they should be allowed to buy everything. I hope corporate sees this and allows them to begin enforcing limits again so all customers has the opportunity to purchase products.”
“I like the fuel rewards I got regular unleaded for 2.79 a gallon with my rewards points. Usually, no waiting in line and pumps are in good working order. The only complaint I have is the receipt printer at pumps never working. I don't care for location, is not conveniently located.”

“We were headed to NC and my niece got sick in the car. Go Mart on the Institute exit in WV was the first in sight. Tonia Borders was awesome and was right there as we came through the door with paper towels and kindness. This what we need in the world today. I hope he day is as awesome as she is. A true light that shines bright.”
“Easy and laid back grocery store. Prices can be shocking at times some good and some bad. The kids like the quarter machines and the horse they ride. They also offer a dude to help load your groceries from the store to your car pretty nifty. We shop here and Elkview and no complaints on this end good honest people.”
“Great selections of just about everything you want to eat and other home goods. Little bit of toys for kids, flowers for occasions with balloons, and bakery. Plenty of parking but it can get filled up quick. Plenty of self checkout lanes if you're in a hurry. Lots of buggies for use. Office services available as well love bill pay etc. They have pick-up available. Wheelchair friendly and assistance as needed.”

“Stopped by Piggly Wiggly and had a great experience. The store was clean and well organized, which made shopping easy. They had a nice variety of products, and the prices were reasonable compared to many other grocery stores. The staff were pleasant and helpful, which always makes a difference. “This store was jam packed with awesome selections and fantastic prices. The staff was extremely friendly and patient with an old couple coming up to the register 5 minutes before closing with 2 heaping buggies full and didn’t make us feel like a piece of crappy for doing so. The store was also extremely clean and stocked full of anything you could want!! I highly recommend you check this location out even if it’s a bit longer off a drive to get there it’s definitely worth it!!!”
