“I am the designated go to for my single parent granddaughter for things. Her 2 year old son rides in the car seat. The recent weather caused her driver side window to fail and stay open. The cold temp made it unsafe to drive. I took it to City Car Star early afternoon Thursday Dec 4 , got an estimate, and an appointment for Friday Dec 5 at 8 am. Picked it up about 1pm Friday. Delivered it to my Granddaughter and I am a hero. The price was surprisingly low. Owner Mike Buggs and his people are truly exceptional service people and with old fashioned kindness with service being important. I am a customer forever and my Great Grandsons’s face won’t freeze.”
“Had my poor older Mercedes go here twice because of other idiots hiting me. One time it was for the rear bumper and they did a flawless job on it with a different rear end and never had problems with it. Then, the second time the car got hit this time it was frame damage so they had to total it and I had it towed there which they were chill about the whole insurance BS going back and forth and were able to let me get other remaining stuff in the car I forgot about and let me take the plates. But, one weird thing is that the plates on the Mercedes had a '26 reg sticker before I took the car here. Then when I got the plates at home I realized it was missing the reg stickers. So I'm not sure if someone stole the stickers or what happened with that, but it's inconvenient because I planned to use those plates for another car. But overall, I would definitely go here again.”
“Really kind people would recommend going back to I went in with about 6 grand in repair cost and they are very willing to work with you on what to do and explaining every process that comes with replacing the parts will be going back again for my monthly maintenance it might be a little pricey to some but They are always upfront about all the cost that come with the repair! P.S Audi repairs are not cheap”

“I called on Friday and Elite was able to come to my house in Madison on Monday at noon. I was quoted 8am-12pm for arrival and they were on time, polite and professional. The cost was significantly cheaper than anyone else I called and the price didn't change. They didn't try to upsell me anything and I really appreciate that. Making it super easy and cost friendly to replace my windshield made my life so much easier! I will definitely be referring them to everyone! Thank you Elite!”

“I arrived late afternoon and even though there were potential buyers and some simply waiting for their cars the entire sales team, including the manager and service team, popped into action for everyone looking at or buying a Mazda. They were all kind, courteous, not high pressure, quick to fill a need and understanding of my situation and circumstances. No shady numbers on or off paper. I received two calls backs to be sure I knew how to use all the features and to see if I understood all the benefits. I would definitely recommend this dealership over many in the area or outside this area as I have purchased cars and gone great distances to get them. “Matt is great! He does quality work, and he works hard to try to get it done the same day. I should also add that I'm incredibly frugal so I have checked prices at other shops, but I keep coming back to Fearnsides Fix All for our work. It's just better and Matt's been more reliable. Matt has done most of our work the same day that I've brought in our family car. We've tried other places in town that seemed cheaper only to have bad service and low quality parts which didn't work. Bonus, as a woman who knows nothing about cars, Matt is easy to talk to and I've never felt stupid or awkward which has been an issue with other mechanics in the past. I'm just an extrovert and a lot of mechanics are not so it's nice to feel comfortable in an auto shop for once.”
“It’s not easy to find someone these days with the knowledge and willingness to overhaul a 1965 transmission, but Denny’s Auto Center came through big time. Morris went above and beyond tracking down good used parts — sometimes ordering the same part a few times just to find a solid one. He tested everything to his own standards and made sure I ended up with a good, reliable transmission.
They could’ve easily slapped it back together with questionable parts and called it done, but that’s not how these guys operate. Communication was great the whole time — Morris kept me updated on lead times and progress. When I picked it up, he even took the time to show me all the parts that were replaced and explain everything.
They even printed me some instructions for installation to make sure nothing got messed up. Can’t say enough good things about this place — honest, knowledgeable, and they actually care about doing it right. Highly recommend!”

Anywho, about the shop. I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. It went as expected and the owner of the shop even gave me a ride while they worked on my car. Correct they don't have a waiting area other reviewer, but that cuts your cost so whats more important.
I appreciate shops like this who don't try to sell you everything under the sun. If that's what you prefer there are definitely some shiny shops for you. I prefer a shop like this that fixes your car, talks to you like a neighbor/friend, and doesn't take any opportunity to scam you.

I will put any of his motor building skills against any top engine builder around here if not in the US. Very fair pricing on work too. If im not doing the work my self on my car, they are the only place I will take it to because I kno its going to be done right!”
