“EV charging is a plus. Breakfast is pretty standard. GF available upon request, but I brought my own food. Scent in room was irritating to me, and I couldn't find the source. Bathroom not so great. Big shower looks like its for two but not enough water pressure for one. Could barely rinse off, rinsing my hair took 10 minutes with the wet mist coming from shower head. Service staff were friendly and helpful when we had a question. Not likely to stay here again but only because of the fragrance. If they could get rid of that, I would be back.”

“Wow! Every little detail was absolute eye candy from the furniture and decor of the lobby, the various local art work on all the walls to everything in our hotel room. The bed was very comfy and the pillows were perfect. The aroma inside the room reminded us of a spa. We enjoyed playing records (jazz especially). A multitude of games were offered. This will be a repeat stay for us!!!”

“Nice rooms, however Google says kitchens in all rooms. This is not true, we brought food in anticipation for this and couldn't make anything with it. Very disappointing :(”

“Staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the rooms. They have full size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash which is wonderful. Everything seemed clean and orderly. Parking is a little bit difficult since it's a downtown hotel, but still manageable. We stayed with three toddlers, and managed to make it up and down from the room even with the parking situation. The breakfast is also quite nice.”
“Price is great! Service people are not very friendly.
They were out of coffee and waited 15 mins to even do anything. Then they said totally out of coffee .
☕️ coffee for breakfast is a must when 5 people are waiting. Walmart is beside us. That’s how you run a buiness , services at this best western for sure could have been more postive. We will be staying else wear in the future.

“A quiet Old-fashion motel resembling the last 50's type design.
Has that quaint charm, never going to be 5 star, but will be a great 3 star motel.
Consistent in achieving the best basic service when you need a place to stay.
You should be happy with a great night's sleep and still have money in your pocket.”

“We are at City Eats during a recent stay at the Metropolis Resort. We dined in for supper but also got a breakfast order in the morning to take back to our room. They had a nice selection of family friendly food items. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive.”

“A very nice Motel. 6. The bed was very comfortable. Everything seemed clean, relatively new and well cared for. My two dogs and I placed near an exit which is very handy. Being near the University meant there were lots of food options. I would be happy to stay here again. Great value!”

“We really were happy to find this location. It is close to the bike path along the river. There is a beautiful locked courtyard that included a bike rack, BBQ grills, and seating areas. The hot tub was so relaxing after biking along lake Altoona. There are restaurants and shopping that spans for miles between EauClair and Altoona. Accross the street from the hotel is a grocery store that must be the world's largest ! Woodmans grocery is bigger than big, I mean humongous. We love to bicycle or walk along the trails. The beautiful area of Altoona and EauClair is a great place to relax, shop, and bike ride. The hotel was clean, the staff was very pleasant, the rooms were very comfortable along with a reasonable price for a 2 room suite.”
