“Called them to ask about a condition happening with my betta. They were super helpful and informative and recommended to me several possible causes and treatments. Putting me on the right road to figuring out my fish's health problem. Thank you!”
“Thank you, Heather! The low-protein chews you helped me pick out are a hit. Including show-off time, it takes our retriever about 15 minutes to finish one off, which is perfect. Her breath is better, too.
As a general review, I’ve been shopping here for years and have always found what I needed, and employees are friendly and knowledgeable.
The dog wash area came in handy once when the dog rolled in something absolutely vile at the dog park and needed a bath ASAP.”
“Returned a pump I didn't need and got a gift card to tractor supply, would've preferred cash to the gift card but I will eventually use it at some point”

“Everyone who volunteers and works at Saving Paws was so patient with us! We went to Saving Paws with one dog in mind. When we got there, we met the dog, Lucy, and also got to look around and meet any other dog we were interested in. Kari was very knowledgeable about each dog and let us take as much time as we needed to spend with each dog. Kari told us we could go home and decide overnight since it was a lot to take in after meeting 3 dogs. We informed her of our decision the next day that we would like to adopt the dog we were originally interested in. Kari was at a grooming appointment and Ruth and Jeremy were working that day. They let us play with Lucy again for 30 minutes before we officially adopted her. They brought in a puppy to show us how Lucy was with other dogs and answered any lingering questions we had. They also offered to contact the Texas shelter where Lucy came from and find out any extra information they may not know if we had more questions. Overall it was a positive experience. Lucy was also due on her heartworm and flea/tick preventative and they gave us the preventatives needed to her to tie her over until we could get her into a vet. We never felt the pressure other rescues can sometimes give. We are so thankful for everything they do for each dog that comes through their rescue! Lucy has made us laugh and smile for the few days we’ve had her. I’d definitely recommend Saving Paws!”
“Don’t over look this pet store! A quaint and locally owned pet store rife with all sorts of goodies for any size animal!!! Owner is extremely pleasant and very outgoing and friendly. Next time you walk by with your pet stroll through and snag something!”
“Not only were the prices affordable compared to other places, which was absolutely critical to me right now, but tje manager, Rachael V., was the KINDEST and most compassionate person I've ever encountered in the realm of animal care, and that's saying something. Rachael, thank you so very much for showing us that we were doing the right thing. We will not forget you!

“I got my juvenile rat from them, you can tell they care for their pets. My boy Monkey has a very cuddly personality, he comes right up to me in his enclosure to get scriches after day 5 he's already grooming me? He has been handled very well! Very Healthy and a happy playful boy?”
“Very nice employees, but I ordered something for pickup that was supposed to be ready In 2 hours. I showed up 2.5 hours later and they didn’t have it. A little mishap but again the employees were very nice and made it right for me.
Shoutout to Brandon H!!”
“Needed feline (cat) Greenies Pill Pockets to administer medicine to my cat Lucky. I tried in numerous places closer to where I live, but they only carried Greenies Pill Pockets for dogs. They were much too large. I drove 80 miles round trip to buy these, could wait for a delivery. Thank you for taking care of the needs for all pets! (I wish veterinarians sold these at their clinics. They are awesome for administering pills.)”
“Your vehicle will be repaired here by high class professionals at a very reasonable price.(Plus, I like going in the store because I love the scent it has for some unknown reason.)”
“Absolute wonderful shop with alot of selection. The owner was very knowledgeable and very helpful. I am definitely going to become a regular. Recommend. I purchased a Poly, Zoa and Acan”
“I was looking for my cat's food and didn't find it right away. The staff was very prompt and courteous with finding it for me. I had a coupon for 20% off that applied to my entire purchase. Thank you!”

“My wife, two children and I stopped in today and adopted our first leopard gecko. We have lots of experience throughout our years with pet stores and this experience was by far the best. The staff members were all amazing both with our questions and our children’s. They were so patient and knowledgeable. We will be back and we will be recommending to everyone we know. It’s clear that the employees working here have a passion for what they are doing. Keep up the great work!”
