“This Circle K is one of the better ones around. The place is clean both inside and out, including the gas pumps—which were well-maintained, with a couple out of order but clearly marked. The staff are nice and helpful, adding to the overall good vibe. They’ve also got a car wash that does a pretty solid job, plus convenient extras like ice and firewood, which is great if you're stocking up before a trip. All around, a reliable and tidy stop.”

“I have nothing but good to say about Walgreens on Oneida. I went to what had been my regular pharmacist to fill a new prescription. The pharmacist said that they did not carry that drug (in spite of its being a national chain). I went to the pharmacy closest to my house and the pharmacist there said they used to have a client on that drug but do not have it any longer. So I went to Walgreens on Oneida. The pharmacist there looked at it and told me that the drug was not manufactured in that strength. He called the doctor and got the correct strength. Did I mention the prescription was for my dog? I think that any pharmacy that employs such caring pharmacists who are willing to go the extra step for a prescription for a pet is the pharmacy I want handling my medications.”

The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.
