Despite management creating dangerous situations for their night staff and long wait times for customers by egregiously lean-staffing the store, most of the employees go above and beyond, and are always friendly and helpful. Because of this, I was very hesitant to dock a star, but Carl has lost that star for the store. This man is unfriendly at best, and outright rude most of the time. I have had many transactions with him at this point, and always approach him as friendly as possible, and his outright hostility is exhausting. When I see Carl at the register, I spend my entire time in line hoping the other cashier can take me. Management seems unwilling to look out for their excellent staff, but hopefully they will be willing to correct the one man on their team that is NOT being friendly or helpful to their customers.”

“This review is for the A&W restaurant. It is rare that a fast food place earns 5 stars from me. I stopped in during a long bike ride to get a well earned burger. I got the #5 bacon burger with onion rings and a root beer. I always love the frosty mugs you are offered. Makes the root beer extra refreshing. The burger was well made and the toppings fresh. The onion rings were crisp and paired nicely with the spicy sauce. Extra points because they should have charged us extra for the spicy sauce but we had already paid so they waived the fee. Overall the location was clean and the staff was friendly to us the entire time even checking in on us. I would stop back in if in the area.”

The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.
