“This past January, I needed brakes in my car replaced. They worked, but were failing and I was concerned. I was visiting my elderly grandmother (I live 11 miles away). She said I'll call Flood's. I was like "I don't know it's Saturday afternoon." They aren't going to look at it now. Monday. She's like, "No, I will call". So anyway they said that they were closing, but if I could come straight down they would stay open. So, they took my car for a ride and came back and put it on the hoist and told me that my brakes needed replacing, but it was safe to drive for the immediate future. They said that I couldn't get in with them for 2 weeks, but assured me that it was safe to drive for at least a month. They named other local garages to take it to ( I'm local, I know all the garages). I just thought it was honest and I appreciated it, plus staying open late. And the banter. "I thought your aunt was the hottest girl in class." "Is your grandmother ninety yet, because we're making a list of all the people in Eden that are ninety." Yeah, I said and he wrote it on the list and showed me the others. The loose candy bars for $1.00 each (written in black marker) in an old 6Pack cardboard bottom. I hadn't been in there in 30+ years. I will definitely do business with them again. Full service when they are open. Otherwise, you know how to self serve. You don't EVER see that anymore. Mayberry. Oh and my break replacement charge was $325. ??”

“Made a stop here last night due to ABS lights on trailer and spoke with Luis ( Lewis) that put me on the list to be seen today due to them being extremely busy because of the weather but he was so nice, patient and understanding. When I got in the shop he was just as nice and helpful in person, very personable (must be that Texas charm?) but although my company went against repair costs he still did what he could do to get me rolling and safe and he just looked out for me like some men tend to look out for women and then Stefon (I hope thats right) came towards the end and provided me with such helpful advice and information and was also very kind. You gentleman made my icy stop very warm and I am VERY appreciative of you all and your hard works. THANK YOU!!!?”

“I'm so impressed. Thinking the library was the place to go to fax in some homework, I quickly learned they don't fax anything, however, they sent me to the Lomira Shell gas station. I was hesitant, but from the second I walked in the door the gentleman working was extremely helpful and super friendly.”

“I came here for breakfast today. I’ve been here before but never for breakfast. I was excited to try something new. The food was good. What was left to be desired was me waking into a manager yelling at an employee before we ordered when it appeared as if the employee wasn’t doing anything wrong. Over a minute of yelling happened in front of my friends and I over the chicken they regularly serve not being out. All of this yelling was apparently happening from a manager. I give the employee credit that was being yelled at a lot of credit for waiting on us with poise after that interaction. I’m hoping this review will begin some discussions with that manager over professionalism. I was really disappointed with her actions specifically.”

“The Shell on Pioneer Road in Fondy doesn't have Highlander Grog coffee like other Shell locations, but when you walk into the place it's huge and they have a big deli on your left. The prices of the food at the deli are about the same as other places, unless you're not a picky eater because you can get 6 cold chicken wings for under $2. I'd like to see other places beat that right now! The elder lady running the cash register was super friendly and smiled at every customer as they walked in. It was a very pleasant experience overall and I'll definitely be coming back to this particular Shell location.”
