“I am so pleased with the quote and services provided by Matt's. I own a Volvo XC 60 2016. I love my car and always wanted a VOLVO, so I take a great care of my vehicle, never missing mileage service and am always hesitant to take it anywhere, but the Volvo dealship, as it is fair to say I have trust issues. However when I discovered no heat was blowing into my car and took it to Volvo Waukesha dealer, after running diagnostics ($200), they told me the HVAC Blower Motor needs replacement and quoted me close to $3K. At this point I knew i had to get another opinion. I called Matt's (google search with great reviews) and explained the issue. They immediately quoted me a little more than half of what Volvo wanted, so I decided to go with them. The day I took my car to Matt's, Dennis said he wanted to look at it first as he was doubting the HVAC Blower Motor was gone. Later the same day I got a call from Dennis who told me it was my lucky day, as they only need to replace a resistor, which was going to cost me a little over $500 and the HVAC Blower Motor was working just fine. It was such a relief to hear, and the best part, my car was ready for pick up the next day! I just discovered my go-to car shop for life! Can't say "Thank you" enough to Matt's entire team!”

I looked for a full service station online and found this place just a little over a mile from where I moved to from Appleton, so I drove over and the gentleman (I don't remember his name) topped off my gas tank and checked the air in all 4 ties. We went to several different transmission shops for quotes including A&A downtown (same shop different owners).The guys at A&A South were fantastic. And far more reasonable on their pricing for the same work.I am a mechanic and I had removed the transmission and brought it there for A&A South to look at. They provided honest and solid advice.I was impressed with their knowledge and pricing.Unfortunately for us, they have a great customer following and they were 2 weeks out to get to our transmission. I loved their honesty and loyalty to their customer.While they wanted to do our transmission they were unwilling to delay work on other customers to do so. That is the right approach to ensuring their customers get serviced.We ended up at DJ’s transmissions (who were also fantastic). You can see our review of them on google.But, I wanted to give a shout out to A&A South for their honesty and high integrity. That is refreshing to see in the auto repair business.We all have our horror stories on car repair. And I try to do as much as I can on my own.But it was refreshing to find a shop that dealt with us honestly and was really well priced vs the competition.Shop around if you need this kind of work. It’s gonna be expensive. The labor to pull and reinstall a transmission can take 8+ hours.But the guys at A&A South are really great. “Our dealership worked with Accurate Transmission Specialists to replace our 2012 Camry’s transmission under warranty. There were some complications and the first replacement ended up having problems too. But, they went above and beyond and really put in there due diligence. After multiple times testing out the car car they honored the 6 month warranty and replaced it again free of charge. It’s been months now and the car works great! Sometimes stuff just happens but it’s what you do to amend the issue that matters. I am highly satisfied and thankful for the outcome. We would do business with them again. “Recently brought my car in because the engine light had come on. I explained the problem to them and they asked me some questions. They told me that because I had bought a couple of back to back tanks of premium gas this might be the problem. They suggested I go back to putting regular in and give that a try. Sure enough I put regular in and the engine light went out and hasn’t come back on since. Girard’s could have said yea we can hook it up and run costly diagnostic tests but they didn’t. They were honest and helped me out with an easy fix. I would recommend Girards to all my family and friends. They are terrific people. And now a days finding a gem like Girards can be hard!! “Driving through town hours from home and our fuel tank strap broke and was dragging on the ground. We stopped in with no warning and asked if he could look he told us to come around back and he did the repair asked if we needed anything else so he charged our AC too since we realized it wasn't cold... he did both and we were out within an hour. Awesome considering we had two little kids with us!!! And He could have gouged us with price since we didn't even ask how much as we were desperate and he was super reasonable!!!
